No help for tech teams and clubs by the administration
Almost all facilities are chargeable like booking classrooms, labs or workshop.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The institute is both serious about academics and flexible in it. There are enough qualified professors and the class size is rarely over 100. The teaching methods is traditional though attendance is not mandatory to give flexibility to students to study how they want and to take part in extra curricular activities and competitions. The term exams happen twice each semester and the difficulty depends on the course.

Internships Opportunities :

The college has a summer internship program in which companies come for third year students. Only a few students are selected and cgpa plays a huge role. Though if you get a summer internship there is a high chance to get a pre placement offer from the company.

Placement Experience :

The placement drive comes in the fourth year. The drive is quite good and around 80% of the students get placed. The average package for chemical engineering is 13lpa. The highest package is not disclosed by the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is quite high in my opinion and sometimes the college doesn't provide as many services in return of their cost. The cost of living is also very high. The college provides merit-cum-need scholarships as well as paid teaching assistant roles for students

Campus Life :

There are two main fest - Oasis(cultural) and Apogee(tech) that happen in October and March respectively. The infrastructure provided is good for academic purposes - Library is expansive and there are plenty of labs. But for any other purpose like starting a company or building something (a car or rover) or doing anything other than acedamia there is no facility or help by the college regardless of any result you bring.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are large enough but the hostels are old and not cleaned regularly, specially the bathrooms. The mess food is mediocre at best Living in hostels is compulsory and day scholars are only allowed if they live in Pilani.

Hostel Fee : INR 96000 per year

Admission :

The college takes a seperate entrance test called BITSAT. It has physics, maths, chemistry, biology, (optional), mental ability and english questions. The courses you can take are then decided by your rank. This test happens around the same time as JEE mains. There is no reservation quota.

My view for college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be eligible for placement. TCS ,META etc. Companies visited every year. The highest package of my college is 10 LPA. And also average package is 2.50-3 LPA. Only 20-30% student s get placement from college but in textile branch placement ratio is 90-95%

In the beginning, I was preparing for the Govt. job but At the time of placements I had done my CRT training properly so due to that I got placed in Pinnacle for my Autocadds performance and I was very good at AutoCAD at the time of placements this was all possible by my respected teachers and I don't Forgoted their efforts on us.
