Course Curriculum Overview :

I am Electrical Engineering graduate, so if you are interested in Electrical then this institute will help you grow. But if you are interested in Software Youtube will be the best teacher you will get.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

On third year you will get an ample amount of internship oppertinuity, if you want toi grab one then make a group of friends who can help you clearing the online test. If you clear the 1st round than then the chances of getting an intern is very high.

Placement Experience :

Placements are the best part of NITs and IITs. Oncampus placemets are organized by CDC, top tech companies lik Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, BNY Mellon and any other. Average package varies but as a guess from 10 LPA to 15 LPA will be the avg package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Oppertinuity os scholarships are given by the Institute. The academic Dean will send mails regarding different types of scholarships. And if you are SC/ST or OBC as well as if your father's income in less the college fees will minimized based on your background.

Campus Life :

The life in campus is good. Different types of fests are organized like Tech fest, Food fest etc. If you are interested in reading books then library is here for you, it will provide an ample amount of bokks related to your passion. The New Academic Building is made for freshers, so the classrooms are well organized. Nit Durgapur also provies various types of sports facilities, newly hockey was organized in NIT Durgapur and also our team went in NIT sports organization.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel foods are good. If you want some spicy foods many canteens are there. All the students enjoy drinking tea in jhoops near main gate NIT Durgapur. You can enjoy with your friends, classmates, roommates and club members in the evening after a 3hrs of laboratory.

Hostel Fee : INR 17000 per year

Admission :

The addmission process was smooth. I actually qualified JEE MAINS and secured good rank. Through the councelling process of engineering I got selected in NIT DURGAPUR as an Electrical Engineering. Then I send the documents like 10th marsheet, 12 marksheet, caste certificate etc. The list of documents will be send by NIT DURGAPUR.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. Exams are scheduledd but may prove to need extra assistane for comprehension of some of the contents.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
