Course Curriculum Overview :

I have choose this college for placements opportunities over here. The faculty over here are experienced members. They teach in good manner. The stress over is a bit less compared to other institutions. In the 1st year we don't have any assignments to be done.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We get so many companies in college for the internship and also for placements. The college helps us to find the internship for the continuing students over here. The Microsoft,Google, Amazon etc companies come here for placements

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees structure in IIITG is 153000 per semester including hostel. The tution fees costs 1,25,000 per semester. The Hostel charges 12,500 per semester. And the mess charges 16,000 per semester. And the fees for the mess and hostel are worthy.

Campus Life :

The campus life here will be not soo exited don't keep any hopes. But u may enjoy the little experiences. There will be a event called Yuwaan which will be held every year. We have Different types of clubs which are sports club, Culture club, tech club, robotics club, Drama club etc. and we do have a council for students called Students Gymkhana council(SGC) for wch there will be a president from students for that council who will elected through elections

Hostel Facilities :

The fees for the hostel is 12,500 per semester. It will be a 1 kilometre away from the academic building. The girls hostel and boys hostel will be seperate. There will be a night canteen in the both the hostels. The mess over here is Ok. For South Indians it a bit difficult to manage. But u can get restraunts near by

Admission :

The admission of Indian Institute of Information technology Guwahati is to be done by Jee Mains which is conducted by National Testing agency. I have opted For computer science engineering (CSE) branch.

My View on the DIBRUGARH University Institute of Engineering and Technology

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 5th semester. Various companies visit the campus each year. Since the college is specialised for petroleum engineering placement offers come from OIL, NRL, ONGC, BCPL,etc for the petroleum and mechanical branches. Various other companies and startups come for students from the CSE and ECE departments But the percentage of students getting placed is low as the top students from each branch are only allowed to sit in the placements drive. I plan to try for the campus placements. Of I don't make it then will attempt GATE. for mtech.
