Course Curriculum Overview :

A complete MBA Faculty to student ratio is difficult to obtain as some faculties go out to take courses in other universities. There are visiting faculties at IIMK as well. Every faculty has the freedom to design the course as per their pedagogy, mid-term is compulsory in every course for the first year.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships in different domains like consulting, marketing, finance, operations, human resource, general management were available. More than 120 companies visited campus. More data is available on IIMK's website

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are available. There is an office and a committee for the same. Everything about the process is discussed with the candidates once they join. Data regarding campus placements is available on IIMK's website.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

SC and ST are eligible for scholarships if their family income is below a pre-determined level. The academic office helps students get scholarships. Most students have taken education loans. Some have earned scholarships from their respective state governments.

Campus Life :

Annual Fest echoes will be in February Management Fest was last week, and it was lovely. They invited Philip Kotler to deliver a talk on Marketing. Celebrities like Ankit Tiwari and Kumar Varun were also invited. Books and course packs are included in fees and provided by the college. All classrooms have AC, and most of them have auditorium-like seating. The campus has several badminton, basketball, table tennis, and squash courts. There is a 25 m swimming pool which is well maintained. 1 football court, 11 volleyball courts, and a few cricket nets are there. A common gym is also there for the students.

Hostel Facilities :

There are single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Single rooms do not have AC and attached washrooms. All other rooms have ACs, attached washrooms, and geysers. The mess menu is okay. It is difficult for a north Indian to adapt to Kerala's cooking. Breakfasts are the best meals of the day. There is 1 cafe and 1 restaurant on campus. Some kiosks are open to grab quick snacks throughout the day.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

CAT Percentile WAT PI A composite score based on the above 3 assessments and your academic profile is made. The composition of the composite score is available on IIMK's website. Reservation is according to the rule by government of India

Interview Experience :

No Group Discussion WAT was on a very specific topic, a thorough and vast reading of topics is recommended. Keep up with business news. PI was based on the CV and candidates' opinions. Preparation involves knowing oneself and the course inside out, as much as possible.

SMS CUSAT

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies include federal bank ICICI Bank, Turn B, DHL, Reliance, Kellogg's, and Kimji Ramdas. The highest package was done by Kimji Ramdas for around 21 lakhs per annum. Around 90% of students are placed. My plan is to get placed after the completion of the course.

One of the best business schools in Kerala-Amrita School of Business, Kochi

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Hexaware, EY, Birlasoft, Envision, Accenture, Dell, Digit Insurance, HDFC Bank, Grant Thornton, Photon, Indegene, Mphasis, Advantage club, Feedback Consulting, Panasonic, IDFC, GATI, Reliance Retail, Pepperfry, PwC. Profiles are offered in the Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, and Analytics domain. By the end of January, 5th Trimester, 80% of the students are placed. I plan to continue with the job I secured and create a name for myself in my industry.

Placement Experience:

There are 6 semesters in total and the placement drives starts in the month of November. The students should have above 4.8 CGPA out of 8 to become eligible for the placements. The current average CTC is 8.10 and as of now above 60 companies have visited our campus. The college had 100% placement in the previous year and likely to have the same in the current year. Admission:

My admission was done on the basis of entrance mode. I took the CAT exam and scored 76%. So I was eligible for the admission. Oh! I almost forgot I filled out the application form online from the official website of the Calicut University and then my application was shortlisted.

Placement Experience:

The placement provided by our college was overall good. The placement cell from my college was very active and provided a lot of placement opportunities by inviting familiar companies like HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. Our college has an average percentage of 30% and above rate in placement.
