The central university of Kerala has a very good academics, where students get a comprehensive knowledge about the industry.
The infrastructure provided at department as well as hostels are of high quality.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As we know the tourism department was introduced in the year 2019, it's in the growing stage were the full fledged operations is not still started, so the curriculum have certain drawbacks considered to some other universities where tourism is well established.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The central university of Kerala provide various internship opportunities in government as well as private sectors. As a central university people and organisations which include government organisations are ready to take students from central university for internship in their organisation and the faculties as well as university administration is doing well to provide the best internship opportunities for the students.

Placement Experience :

Most of the departments provide and take efforts for placements still they are not possible to make it 100 percentage placement. More steps should be taken to increase the placement opportunities and get provide placement to all the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for central university of Kerala is comparatively less but for the management courses it's higher. And for the students from kerala the kerala government provide scholarships known as e grants where a huge burden is decreased. Still the grants take a lot of time to be disbursed. Placements are also an average, all are not placed still people are getting placed with the help and support of the administration.

Campus Life :

The central university of Kerala overall it can be referred as a mini india, where students, scholars and faculties from various parts of the country as well as few international students study. We get to know about various cultures and people and their languages, arts, and food styles. It also helps us to improve our language and communication skills

Hostel Facilities :

The central university of Kerala has a very good hostel facility, 3 hostel for boys and 4 hostel for girls are already in use as well as two new hostels, one for boys and other one for girls is under construction. All the students have adequate availability of hostels as of now, and facilities for further growth also is being done. The food won't be good for all because to cater the needs of various students is not possible with the limited mess fee.

Hostel Fee : INR 3500 per year

Admission :

The mba tourism course is open to all anyone who have a bachelor degree with more than 50 percentage marks can apply for the entrance that is CUET PG and once it's cleared then we can apply for central university of Kerala through their website using cuet scores. And then according to rank and merits admission will be done.

Faculty :

All the faculties are people with great knowledge and experience in the industry, and we usually follow a ratio of 1 faculty for 10 students which is one of the best ratio compared to other colleges. Our university follows a mentor mentee system where faculties are assigned with group of students to guide them all the way through their academic journey as well as future achievements.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies include federal bank ICICI Bank, Turn B, DHL, Reliance, Kellogg's, and Kimji Ramdas. The highest package was done by Kimji Ramdas for around 21 lakhs per annum. Around 90% of students are placed. My plan is to get placed after the completion of the course.

A home away from home where diversity is not just a word.

Placement Experience:

The students start their placement process once they are in 4th term as they will have their mock interviews starting. In the 5th term, companies started to visit the campus. Since the placement is for all three campuses of XIME students need to go to Bangalore to give their interviews. Companies like Soc Gen, EY, Oracle, and KPMG come to campus offering good salaries. The highest placement for 2022 was 15.4 lakhs and the average was 10.2 lakhs. this year even tho there is a recession going on the institute is bringing in good companies for placement with the highest placement being 14.2 lakhs and the average is around 9.4 lakhs with 40 percent of the batch being placed. For me, I will definitely try to get a placement that has a record of 100 percent placement. If not then I will do my further studies abroad.

Great College for academics as well as Extra curricular activities And lots of fun

In the year In which I completed the course, we had a record number of placements. The ingot was placed in the axis bank as assistant manager in operation. The employers were Excel dynamics, KPMG, EY, Axis bank, Federal bank, Berger paints, some pharmaceutical companies, etc. That almost 92% of the students got placed.

Placement Experience:

From the 3 semesters themselves, students made themselves Eligible for their placements and many of them were placed. We have visited more than 12 companies and from 2 companies they given offers. Jai Bharath- A happy place for MBA

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements and to seek jobs outside. Some of the companies visiting our college are 90+ tuition apps, BOSS motors, Electro mech enterprise etc. There are many job fairs also been conducted in our college. The placement percentage is low but some of the students get placed in great companies with good packages above 5-6L per annum. My plan is to attend campus placement in 3rd sem and get placed.
