Course Curriculum Overview :

the course curicullum includes data structures and algorithmns , programming bascis , quantum mechanics the student to faculty ratio is around 1:20 the teaching method of the faculty needs a litttle improvement

Class Size : 129Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

the internship opportunities are limitless the companies like google microsoft and meta come to the campus for on campus recruitmnet for internships the stipends range from 20k rupees to 1L rupees per month

Placement Experience :

the placements are very good the placement season is conductes in 2 phases. the companies that come to the campus during the placement season are google microsoft samsung quadeye and other renouned companies

Fees and Financial Aid :

the fee structure is 1 lakh per semester for tuition and around 15k for hostel per semester i didn't avail any scholarship the placements of IIT are renouned throughout the country the institute provides a solid internship program

Campus Life :

IIT Kanpur includes a lot of clubs like programming music dance book anisoc drams photography club design and animation club BCS aeromodelling club finance and analytics club and all types of sports clubs

Hostel Facilities :

the hostel is pretty good the only complaint is 3 people are made to share the room meant for 2 people the food in the mess is very good it also involves paneer for 2 times a week the fee payment for mess bill used to be a problem

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

i took iit jee advanced exam you are eligible to give jee advanced if you qualify in jee mains the jee advanced was conducted as a 2 papers in the morning and the afternoon and the application was through josaa

Placement Experience:

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

There are many placements opportunities provided by the campus. Many companies like samsung, google visit the campus but only take the top candidates. Highest package offered last year was around 33 LPA and average package is around 7-8 LPA. Almost everyone gets placement after the course so thats a good thing.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semster Students are eligible to sit in the Campus placements. Students are eligible only if they have 8CGPA in every year. In past there were many companies like Amazon , adobe , Mahindra and many more , Highest on campus placement was of 56Lac/year , Average placement : around 5lac/year. Around 20% students are really placed in this college. My personal opinion is to get a job from either outside or oncampus placement and save for my Masters to do it from abroad.

Sweet and Salty Journey of GCET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Preferred this course because I saw a great scope in this. Artificial Intelligence is our future so it is having great scope for the future. Faculty: Student Ratio is Good means the no. of Teachers is enough for every course. They all are having good qualifications and are very helpful. The term exams were quite easy and you will not find any difficulty in passing.
