Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because i have a keen interest in the subject sociology. I loved to gain knowledge about the history of the societies and how these societies work. The faculty and student ratio is also quite good as in the faculty there are 15 teachers including professors and assistant professors and around 30 students in the faculty. The faculty members are very qualified regarding the course the teaching methods also very good as each and every student is able to understand very clearly what the teacher is teaching. The term exams happens after every 3 months of the starting of the semester which makes it really difficult for students to study and complete their course on time due to this it becomes quite difficult to pass the term exams

Internships Opportunities :

many companies came with internship offer such as Google and many other MNC's. I was enrolled in the internship program of teach for India foundation where I used to teach classes 1st and 2 nd at a government school. My stipend was around 3k per month

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placement form the final year of the course Many MNC's have visited AMU like Google. The average package from campus placement is aroun 50k per month and the highest package offered is 70k per month Around 40 percent of students gets placement. My plan after getting a bachelors degree is to apply for MBA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees regarding this course have always been same which is around 4000 INR but it varies if a student is an NRI then the fees becomes quite expensive. I was able to get an internship in teach for India foundation from the university TPO(teaching and placement office) in this internship I was getting a stipend of aroun 3000 per month

Campus Life :

The Annual fest in Aligarh Muslim University are many. Some of them are the lit fest which is a literary fest organised by the university debate and literary club of Aligarh Muslim University then there is Filmsaaz Which is organised by the university film club of Aligarh Muslim Universityand then every department have their own annual fests. The Maulana Azad Library is one of Asia's biggest library and it contains each and every book their is available on the planet earth. The Annual fest also brings many sport competitions and also the campus have all the fields and courts in which all types of sports can be played AMU have one of the best football and cricket field. AMU also have a horse riding club and an Olympic size swimming pool. There are many clubs in which a student can get enrolled. There is the university film club, University debating and literary club, University drama club, University music club and many more clubs which are run by students under the provisions of some t

Admission :

Eligibility for B.A.(hons) Sociology in AMU is a student must have 55% or above in his/her 12 th board exam if one does not meet this criteria he/she is not eligible for admission into any course in Aligarh Muslim University. To apply into this course one should pass an entrance examination for Bachelor of arts. The application form for the entrance exam will be available on the amucontroller website from there one can fill out the application form for any course in Aligarh Muslim University. Everything including the eligibility criteria, course fees and application dates are provided on the amucontroller website. The only improvement I want to see in the admission process is that the university should improve their online server as they sometimes due to large traffic gets down

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical aspect of the courses provided good learning the curriculum does provide for the real world opportunities but its mostly the connections and the contacts we make in the organisations and school which Blue Star performance I suggest the curriculum should be more on practical side with other than there is no major problem only practicality Exam season is twice a year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I'm preparing for civil services and the syllabus is very similar to the Civil services exams so it is very beneficial for those who want to prepare for a government job. The faculty is good. All the teachers are very helpful and supportive they treat every student very nicely. They are extremely cooperative. All the members of the faculty are highly qualified and sober. The way of teaching is very good. They try to understand every student's compulsions and teach accordingly. ECC follows a semester vice pattern for all the courses and exams are very regular. You may get irritated because of the exams, internal exams happen every week, and semester exams at every 6 months
