Remarks :
The only remarks I would like to give is that the college is very good in terms of extra curricular activities as well as study wise.
Entrance Preview :
I appeared in IIT JEE, BITSAT exams. I scored 6496 rank in mains and 11356 rank in Advance as well as 218 marks in BITSAT. I preffered IIIT/ALLAHABAD on the basis of its reputation, all india ranking as well as its exposure for its student on national and international level besides my interest in IT.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the teachers in the college are from well reputed college backgrounds, either holding master degrees and also some are pursuing PhD. The curriculum is also made to make the student an all rounder rather than just a book worm.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, it does provides internship in the final years of our study. The general stipend ranges from company to company which varies each year. yet to experience it.
Placement Experience :
Currently my college holds a 100% placement record with reputed companies as recruiters such as Google, IBM, Microsoft.
College Events :
The biggest event that takes place in our college is the Effervescence. Apart from that the upcoming event, which is UP-CON, an international conference, which i am going to attend, Apart from that we have photography competitions, debates etc from time to time.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Coming from a middle class family I would say the fee structure is moderate, not putting a lot of burden on the student, hostel facility is very good, food is okok. As i am staying in a hostel, i would like to point out that hostels are very spacious and well maintained. there is also facility for parents to stay if they visit us.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very very good. I had very little expectations about the life in college, but within a week it had completely changed. Like i mentioned above, they make the child an all rounder. There are numerous activities going at any part of the month. Debates, Events, plays, workshops). I would give a 10/10 on this part. Gender ration is 2:1 (Boys:girls). And there is absolutely no discrimination or tolerance against the factors mentioned in the question.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, definitely. I studied in chandigarh and i got so many people on the internet with whom i could talk and have an idea about the college.
