The course curriculum and the big campus

Nothing till now, there is no reason to dislike anything here

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curiculam is great. It is designed in such a way that students will not get any pressure during academics. The faculty members are well educated and skilled, and have a great knowledge in the subject

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 226000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is a lot of internship opportunities here in our college. Students generally prefer to do internship from their 2nd year. We find different opportunity for internship through our ERP profile.Nice internships are here.

Placement Experience :

The placement of our college is great. Almost all the students who sit in the interview got placed in good companies and the other students opts for higher studies. This year 1353 offers are given to 1277 students till now.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure is little bit expensive i think. Though there is different opportunity of scholarship. Also campus placements are great. Every year maximum students got placed in some company..and other students opted for higher studies also

Campus Life :

The life at campus is so much of thrill and enjoyment. Technology fest and spring fest makes our life full of enjoyment. There are different clubs here to join to upgrade individual skills and to prepare for placements

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are great. We got meal 4 times a day. The quality of the meal is very good. And their is also variety of foods in the menu. The rooms are good, in a wing there are average 8 rooms and 2 common bathrooms. The bathrooms are clean and hygienic

Hostel Fee : INR 56000 per year

Admission :

The admission process is through jee advance examination. Students get different branches according to their jee advanced ranks. This year Jee Advanced cutoff was 83 marks out of 360. So students getting higher marks than 83 qualified jee advanced but to get admission into iit for general students rank should be between 16000

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
