- Societies and club: There are variety of societies and club and you can choose them based on your field of interest.

- Things inside the campus are very costly.
- Campus is situated in a rural area and the outside markets are far away.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen B.tech in Instrumentation Engineering because since class 12 I had keen interest in electrostatics and Electrodynamics. In a section there are approximately 180 students and for one course subject there is one main professor and 2 to 3 Teaching Assistants. The main professor is a PhD and has done research works in their topics. The teaching assistants are either one of M.tech or PhD students. There are mainly two main exams in a semester the Mid-Sem and End-Sems and in between there are class tests. If you have studied well for JEE it will not be difficult for you to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
Unikupid, MIHUP, HCL Tech, Adobe , Qualcomm, Microsoft and many more with a monthly stipend of 5 to 10k. You need to do hardwork in you interns so that at the end of 4th year B.tech you get a nice C.V.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees is this according to the academic calendar:(All are in Rs) Tution fee : 1,00,000 Hall Accomodation Fee: 30000 Library+ Gym+othee Facility 6000 5800 for Alumni Subscription and medical treatment. 5750 for Electricity and Lab maintenance Tution fees is zero for SC/ST students and fee waivers are given to students based on their family income.
Campus Life :
There are two big annual fests conducted and they are Spring Fest and Khsitij in the month of Jan. Throughout the year there are various kind of other events conducted in the campus. The library has a ton of books . Like any book you need related to your academics you can get in the library. There is also a facility of Digital library which gives you access to E copy of Books for free. The Classroom environment is really awesome with big halls and they are ai conditioned. There are both facilyfor profs to either teach over boards or through slides . The campus plays a lot of interest towards extra academic activities. It has some of the beautiful fields and tennis courts and swimming pool. There are a lot of clubs and societues which are ran by students. Literally they cover every field you can possibly imagine.
Hostel Facilities :
The Classroom halls are big and are air conditioned. They have projectors and black boards and noise cancellation walls. Meal quality is decent . In one day of week you get Biriyani in lunch and the distribution of veg and non veg meals in a week is 50-50. Once you apply to take admission in IIT KGP through Josaa they send you a mail for hostel allotment after round 6 of Josaa and this process is automated and easy on your side No I live inside the Campus inside MMM hostel.
Admission :
I got admission into IIT KHARAGPUR after clearing Jee mains and Jee advanced. In the year of 2023 more than 12 lakh students had appeared for Jee mains out of which only 1,60,00 were allowed to appear for Jee Advanced .Then after the result of Advance only 17000 students had qualified to get into IIT. You need to register for the exam in online mode and after the results you need to sit into Josaa counselling which will be online and will be conducted after Jee Advanced.
