Remarks :

College is located at very prime location and well connected. Faculty is well educated and experienced and capable of providing practical exposure.

Entrance Preview :

Through college entrance exam. I have entrance exam at state level. I have also given entrance exam of this college. It was top ten colleges of punjab.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course of computer science education is of three years. Curriculum is as per punjab technical universtiy. Elective subjects are Digital electronics ,Data base management system ,Multi media

Internships Opportunities :

I have done internship in HCL. Which provides good practical exposure and understanding of the concepts. The stipend which i got during my internship.

Placement Experience :

Top most company like Tech mahindra, HCL, Infosis, IBM, many other MNCS can to college for camps placements. Which provides good packages with incentives.

College Events :

Various activities organized by the college like cricket tournament, debate competition, annual fest, rangoli competition,mehndi competition. In inter college debate and annual fest other college students also participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is as per the punjab technical university and which is required to be paid semester wise. Fees was quite affordable and feasible for the students of middle class family even scholarship are also provided for poor students and Brilliant students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship provided for poor students and brilliant students and also for backward student . Loan facility also provided for needy students

Campus Life :

Every students would enjoy the campus life of this college. College organized many debate competition, annual fest, rangoli competition,mehndi competition.In inter college debate and annual fest other college students also participate.

Hostel Facilities :

College mess provides very tasty and hygienic food. Both boys and girls hostel facilities is available rooms are spacious and neat and clean.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Every year alumni is organized for the students Senior are very helpful and cooprative. Senior students helps the junior students in preparing their assignment and projects

Exam Structure :

There is semester system comprising of six months means exam are conducted after every six months. There are three lab classes in a week as per the requirements of the course which is quite enjoyable and provides good understanding of the concepts.

Faculty :

Information Regarding my college

Placement Experience:

The placement is Good. Students are eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Approx 50+ companies visited every year. Also good company came like Tcs, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, cognizant, Walmart, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. etc. Approx 80% placement every year 90% from CSE, 80% from ECE, 75% from EE, ME also good placement for Chemical Technology and Food Technology student. In This year the highest package offer was 23Lp.a And also placement rate increase every year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose a diploma in mechanical as per our business to gain knowledge in advance level and enhance skills to do great works. The faculty is good and well qualified you can see all the faculty information on their website. The faculty and student ratio is 1:10, midterm exams held 3 times per semester and 1 final exam per semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was only interested in CSE or ECE because at that time these courses are very good for career-making. Teachers try to give us a better understanding of concepts but sometimes they lagging and didn't cover the whole syllabus on time. Qualifications of teachers I think they all have minimum btech and masters to teach diploma students. Teachers are less like ratio is 1:35. Mid-exams conduct 3 times per semester and they help in exams also.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Many big companies like Mahindra, Vardhan, TAATA motors etc as well as local companies like Chima Boilers come for campus placement. The average package offered by companies to Diploma holders is about 2.5 lakhs annually. The highest package for a Diploma holder is 6lakh to date. About 5-10% of students get placement while most of the students prefer B.Tech for the job so that they could get more package. I decided to go for government jobs rather than taking a placement in private companies.
