The learning imparted as a part of your curriculum-Its more of a practical approach. the curriculum groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students, that’d be helpful in securing on-campus placements-are good. any industrial visits organized for the student- yes annually.
College Events :
Annual function, annual sports one may try to participate in any function no one is gonna stop you. Faculties are always to help you. Sports events are organized in the boys hostel of govt polytechnic ambala city which is 200 m away from the college campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
No additional fees are there just one has to pay semester fees that's it nothing more than that. State bank of india beside college building is there to facilitate students to pay the fees, fees are very less as compared to other polytechnics. One has to pay no charge other than this.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes the board of college provides scholarship to the Top 10 ranked students for rs 3000 per semester.
Campus Life :
It's a co-ed college but surely the ratio of boys vs girls is very less, in favour of boys. In a class of 70 students there are not more than 15 girl students. Workshops are good, the clegee staff doesn't distinguis between girls & boys. No party politics involved in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
No. I haven't opted for the hostel, but all the services are available for college, nearby rooms or PG'S, STUDENTS HOSTEL for girls & boys separately are there, buildings are new, for day schoolers one may tale bus gor ambala city & it will droo you on the gate of campus.
Alumni/Alumna :
The have a facebook group for all the govt polytechnic students, you can knoe for placement opening there.
Admission :
Hsbte organize a DET- Diploma entrance test in which ranks shall be decided according to your score & other criteria. You have to attend the counsellings in order to get the seats. This process takes around 30 days from the result of entrance exam to confirmation of seat allotment.
Faculty :
The tentative number of lecturers in your course-240, average age-40+ and qualification- btech/mtech. the expertise held by them in providing clarity about the subject, to the students- most of the faculties are expertised in there fields. the lecturers hold any relevant industry-experience or certifications.
