There is no attendance issue and no hard and strict rules against attendance
The staff is very supportive and helpful

Dislikes

It doesn't provide us with a placement or any intership.
It doesn't organises any fest or events in the college

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is bachelor's of technology in computer science I opted for this course to get knowledge about technology we use and how can it be developed. But the syllabus or the curriculum of the course is based on the past technologies and we are still learning the same technologies which are of no use in this modern world.

Class Size : 25Course Fees : INR 53000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee in this college is less than compared to other private colleges and it is easier for a middle class family to educate their children from this college and have a graduation degree. The tution fees per semester is around 26-27k and an additional one time fees is taken of college uniform which is about 4k and this no rate hikes in college fees every year. Also their are no campus employement for students but students can take scholarships or financial aid if they come from an underprivileged society.

Campus Life :

There is no annual or technical festival held in this college the functions held in this college is either freshers or farewell . Their is a library in the college but it opens for a limited time in the college and one go and have access to all the books and resources their. College organises sports day for students which gives opportunity to students to perform in different sports.

Admission :

Their np entrance exams u need to give to get addmission in this college the eligibility criteria used is by checking the matriculation or 12th grade percentage of the student and the application fee is only of 1000 rupees and the admission process is very smooth..

Faculty :

As the no. Of students per class is very less so the faculty to student ratio is very good and it helps us in get personal attention whenever we need it. The faculty is highly qualified in their respective subjects due to which they have a better and deep understanding of every topic. Our teachers are very easily approachable for students in case of any help if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
