College Matters

Remarks :

A good student will do great almost anywhere, no matter what. College management is shrewd and not helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Industrial visits were organised, though not extensively. Overall there is nothing that makes the college very unique. Only the Heads of departments were good in teaching along with a few rare teachers. Mostly, teachers taught because they had to and didn't take much interest in their teaching, so the quality of teaching, overall, was average and not even remotely impressive.

Placement Experience :

Mostly local companies come for placement drives. No special steps were taken to prepare the students for the placement season.

College Events :

Many college fests were organised. Students for other colleges visited extensively. However, many student protests for delaying exams also occurred regularly. There was a lot of political tension between the principal's staff and students. Final exam vivas were disorganised and students were not provided adequate information to approach their exams with a positive mindset. Cheating in exams was a very popular and common way for many students to clear their exams, and even some of the faculty helped students cheat.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Additional fees in form of donations are procured by the college only before addmitting a non-meritorious student. Meritorious students don't have to pay any additional fees. Overall, fee structure is feasible and not very expensive. College does not provide a great level of transparency in any of its affairs and to get proper information about college administration, its fee structure etc. one has to do extensive probing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are not many scholarship oppurtunities for students who need them. Infact there was barely even one student who was awarded any type of scholarship or other type of monetary help by the college.

Campus Life :

No considerable extra-cirricullum activities other than yearly college fests were organised. These fests were however enjoable because of the youth from other coleges visiting and the events and various technical and non-technical events that were a part of these fests.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel fees is separate from college fees. Hostel's condition was not very good. In an ideal hostel room, there were at-least 3 students sharing it and some rooms even had 4 people living in them. Rooms' walls were not well painted.

Alumni/Alumna :

Heads of departments and senior only some senior students were wuite helpful to new students, however, there were also many gang related and drug abuse related activities happening among senior student circles.

Admission :

The college accepts both meritorious students and students that pay heavy donations. Meritorious students, especially those that score well in AIEEE exam don't have to pay any donation. Almost anyone who has the money to pay a donation is welcome to the college for their admission.

Faculty :

Heads Of Department were smart and helpful. 45 min lectures, were usually boring in most teachers case. Most teachers were young and inexperienced. Some of the faculty were unfairly harsh towards some not so bright students and were reluctant to give much help and attention to struggling students.

Placement Experience:

I don't have real-time data on specific universities or companies. Generally, campus placement eligibility varies, but students typically become eligible in their final semesters. Companies visiting and offers made depend on the university and its partnerships. For detailed placement information, check your university's placement reports. The highest and average packages, along with profiles offered, are company-specific. You can find this information in placement reports or from your university's career services. The percentage of students getting placements also varies; it's often mentioned in placement reports. As for my plans after getting the degree, I don't have personal
