I like the research faculty of my college which very top class

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had great interest in Circuit designing that is why I choose this course in IIEST Shibpur. The faculty is to students ratio is 1:7 in our institution. Faculty here are highly qualified. They have done phd from iits. Semester exams are held after every 2months.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 142000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Intership start from 2nd year of college. Many companies offer paid internships to many meritious students. Companies like Microsoft, google, pwc texus instruments and many more offer internships and then PPo to students.

Placement Experience :

Placement of our college is very good. Placement starts from third year of the btech . Many companies like Microsoft, Google, PWC and Texas Instruments and many more good companies visit here . They offer good amount of ctc students. Highest package is from Microsoft that is 50 lakhs and average package is 12lakh.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the institute is 142000 . The fees depend on income level of students. Students with income less than 1lakh gets full fee waiver and student with income less than 5 lakhs get 2/3 fee wavier on their fees. Sc/St and pwd students get full wavier. Various scholarships are given to mertious and financially weak students.

Campus Life :

Our institution host cultural feat named as Rebeca in the month of April. Other feats like robocon and nerdcon are also conducted by our institution. We have library named as Ramanujan in our institution. Library has almost all the books required for the course. We have almost all the sports faculty in our campus. We have lords and oval ground in college. Various clubs are their for all categories.

Hostel Facilities :

We have 4 hostels for freshers . One for girls and 3 for boys. One room has one table, bed and almirah. Mess food quality is quite good here. We get both veg and non veg in our hostel. Fees of our hostel is 30000 per semester.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

First we have to fill jee mains form which is available on nta website. The cost of the form is 1000 . Jee mains is conduced 2times a year. I am obc so this also helped me avail some extra benefits. Admission is done through jossa and csab counselling.

From 7th semester you are eligible for placements Tata consultancy services , Pwc, ICICI , Duesthe bank ,Wells Fargo etc no of offers for my batch are more than 300 highest package is 40 lpa and lowest package is 3.3 lpa avg is 7 lpa percentage of students placed is 70 my plan is to join a company which I got selected through campus placement

B.Tech is a great course for technological world and interest.This college mainly focus on the practical knowledge rather than only focusing on bookish things.There is so many opportunities for students who are interested in research.
