Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I had interest in data science and also it contains courses of AI. The average prof:student ratio is 1:19 so I guess it's a good ratio. The professors are also very qualified and from came here from different IITs. We have 2 exams in one semester, mid sem and end sem and it's very much easy to pass exams

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 290000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Some companies that came for internships are Accenture japan, rubrik, Microsoft and the stipends offered varies from 1 lakh per month to 4 lakh per months Project and outcomes are generally not told to the rest of the students so we don't have much info regarding ghat

Placement Experience :

In 7th semester the placement season starts.. All the big mnc like Microsoft, Accenture japan come in the college, most of the students get placed, like the placement percentage is very high Highest package is nearly 2cr and the average package is nearly 23 lakhs. The profiles offered are mostly software developer engineers or some consultancy posts My plans are to study abroad after getting the degree To do my research

Fees and Financial Aid :

There is no as such fees hike policy but there are many scholarship for student who have annual income less than 5 lakh or belonging to some minority castes, financial assistances are there Also here many students have got off campus interns in 2nd year too and are earning a good enough stipend

Campus Life :

The annual fest is Thomso and it happens in October. The tech fest is cognizance and occurs in month of March . Library of IIT roorkee is one of the largest and contains all types of books and journals.. The classrooms are very large, all with centralised ac and staircase type sitting desks.. The sports facility is also amazing, it has football field, badminton court, table tennis hall, squash hall Lawn tennis etc

Hostel Facilities :

We have been given hostels in the campus itself The food quality of mess is not that much good but it's like just bearable, the registration process for these is during the admission only as it is compulsory for everyone to stay in hostel only

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is through JEE advanced, you can get it if you get JEE Advanced under AIR 800. You can check JEE advanced official website for the application form and applications dates. I guess this is one of the best method of conducting an exam as it's working from so many years and is working absolutely fine

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent for CSE branch. But for other baranches very few companies visit on campus. Also for other branches your Cgpa should be good to be eligible for companies.If you have interest in your core branch(other than CSE) than it is better to preparing for Gate in early stage(like start preparing from 2nd year).

IT Gopeshwar: a honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and follows all requirements set by AICTE. It familiarise students with the practical part of branch and theoretical also to make them a good engineer. But in implementation it makes some difficulties because of lab structure the labs doesn't have proper attendent to handle it.

Worst Faculty and Hostel foods

Placement Experience:

I think from 8th semester they are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like HCL, Amazon, Tata ect have visited our college for placement. The highest package Is of 22 lpa and the average package is 4 lpa to 5 lpa . 60% of the students get placement My plan is to get a good package of around 15 lpa

The Unbiased Truth

Placement Experience:

You start sitting for internship companies in the 5th semester and for jobs in the 7th semester. The companies keep coming continuously. Big MNC's come every other month but startups keep coming every other day. The CSO keeps working till you are placed even if you are an NC student (have active backlogs). I have received an offer from HPE. There have been only 1-2 companies who came and didn't offer to any student. Highest package since Sept'24 (I am writing in Nov'24) is actually 40lpa from D.E Shaw to one student and average so far has been 5lpa.

Placement Experience:

Placements at our college were very good because all students got placed at top companies. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Internship opportunities were also provided. Our college was very good in terms of placements compared to other colleges.
