I like the good behaviour of college faculties.

Dislikes

I don't like the syllabus because they don't teach us our IIITA's syllabus in the first year . They teach us NITA syllabus.
I don't like the exam schedule because there are no gaps for difficult subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had to pursue CSE therefore I choose this course. Faculties available all here are of NIT Agartala because our classes goes on in NITA's campus only. Faculty are not good here . Term exams happens in two stages mid term and end term in each semester but they are very hard.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

IIITA is very good in providing internship opportunities to us . I don't know much about this because I am in first year. So when I will ask about this to our senior then only I can tell about these all.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is not high as compared to other IIITs. I didn't get any scholarship because income above than 5 lakh is mentioned in all IIITA's students profile by the institute. But we can apply in many scholarships.

Campus Life :

Annual fests- Moksha , AAYAM , and many events. Many books are available here in the library. First year's classes are not too much advanced but they are good enough. All the NITA sports facilities are available for IIITA's students. Clubs here are We Can , Malhar and 15-20 many more clubs are here.

Admission :

First of all I got a seat in CSE branch of IIIT Agartala in CSAB round 2 , then I uploaded all the necessary documents required in the institute's portal. Then I had to pay the fees required and then I went to the institute for remaining admission process . Then I show all the necessary documents in the institute's admission office where our admission process was going on and that's how my complete admission process was done.

Let's know all about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are getting offered for college placements. There are total 300-400 companies visit in our college and make around 600-700 offers. I got placed in ORC ENGINEERING having a LPA of 2.5-3.5 . The highest package of 2024 year is round 40 lakhs and average package is roughly around 5 LPA. Around Total 60% students placed this year. My next plan is to prepare for gate exams along with my jobs.

A Good College

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for placement from 3rd year itself. Though it is highly unlikely that placement offers come in 3rd year as it comes mostly in 4th year, but there has been cases where 3rd year students also get placed. Besides placement, one can even get good internships which based upon their performance can later get turned to a placement offer. Many good companies have visited and have hired students from this college.

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placement after sixth semester. Gennerally, students who maintained their cgpa above 7.5 gets placed. There were many companies which visited for placements. Software firms such as Oracle, Nvidia, Paypal, Seimens, Paytm, Rapido, Mathworks, Dell, Qualcomm, Chargebee, etc. Core manufacturing companies such as Vedanta oil and gas, Dalmia, Maruti suzuki, CEAT tyres, Ashok Leyland, etc. The percentage rate of placement is around 85%. The highest package is INR 52 LPA offered to CSE and EE branch students. Also Oracle offered placements to around 20 students with CTC of INR 35 LPA. Average package of CSE if INR 14.5 LPA whereas for ECE, it is INR 13.84 LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to get good placement from the college where i can get good work experience and also i am planning to do masters from IIt for which i will prepare for gate examination.
