Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course on the basis of the job opportunity in the future. There are a total of 60 seats in the mechanical department and there are enough faculties members. The facilities here are well educated on their specific branches. Some of them have PhDs on their specific topics. The exams are conducted on the basis of notification from the university
Internships Opportunities :
There are several companies and student communities offering internships for students. There is no need to go outside the college for internship or any other curricular activities. The student's committee offerings are ieee, iedc, iic etc. In the last semester, students will be able to do a project as their final-year project
Placement Experience :
Students will be eligible for campus placement when they are in the 6th semester without any supply. The main companies offering job opportunity is Infosys, tcs, etc. Every student who completes the course without any supply will get placed in a company with a minimum salary of 20000 per month. I will also go for the placement offered by the college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are several ways to get admitted in the college. The fee structure varies on the basis of admission taken. In the merit quota, you need to pay 38000(shown on ktu site). In management and NRI quota, you need to pay the amount of 4.5 to 5 lakh for the whole course. There are several scholarships offered by the college for students who are in merit quota.
Campus Life :
There are several fests conducted by the college and by the student committee. In every year there will be a fresher day for the newcomers to the college. There are 2 days for sports conducted by the college management. There is a huge library inside the college. There are so many extracurricular activities conducted by student committees namely IEEE, iedc, iic etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a big hostel just in front of the collage for the accommodation for students. It is a well maintained and disciplined hostel. The meal quality is good compared to other hostels. Hostel is affordable compared to other home stay offerd in this locality. The registration process are through collage office. There are many homestays near the collage.
Admission :
The eligibility for this course is +2 or a diploma in any branch. There is an entrance exam known as keam held by the government. The application for are filled out through the online portal. If you want any assistance you can go to the nearest engineering college. There are several reservations available based on cast and the mark scored on the entrance exam.
