Remarks :

Higher secondary school education in science subjects with above 50% mark and KEAM is the eligibility criteria. All details about the application form, application fees, and application dates are available on the official website of CET. SC, ST, and OBC candidates have reservations. Some times online admission process gets hindered due to technical issues. So it can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm a tech enthusiast and I like to study new technologies, especially in the mechanical field. It is so interesting for me and that's why I selected this course. The faculty-Student ratio is fair it was 1:52 during my period. Almost all faculties are highly qualified with amazing teaching skills. Term exams are conducted in proper intervals and it was not much difficult for me.

Internships Opportunities :

CET provides valuable internship opportunities for students. It is very helpful for improving the work experience of students. Companies like Royal Enfield provide internships with the role of technical assistant for the best students. Mitsubishi, Honda, Tata, etc also provide internships in various roles. I'm recruited by Enfield as a technical assistant from CET. That was a great experience for me.

Placement Experience :

CET is one of the top colleges with record campus placement in multinational companies. Fifth and sixth-semester students are eligible for campus placements. International companies like Royal Enfield, Google, Tata, Mitsubishi, Honda, etc are conducting campus placements in CET with above 3 lakh Indian currencies per annum which may reach up to 40 lakhs. Almost 90% of students are getting placed in various companies including me.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of my course was 14200 per semester and 28300 for an annum. Compared with other colleges it is affordable for students. CET also provides various scholarships and stipends including post metric scholarship, E-Grantz, and some reserved scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC students. I got a stipend of 12400 per month.

Campus Life :

CET is one of the top colleges in terms of the fest in south India. There were so many technical and cultural fests conducted every year. Drishti is one of them. College is well equipped with high-tech classrooms and workshops, libraries with sufficient books. Various extracurricular activities provided by the college help to improve the cultural and physical abilities of students. Dwani is one of the social groups created by the students of CET.

Placement Experience:

The placements are more than decent as you get many opportunities to land a job before graduation. Provided you don't have backpapers which most companies wouldn't want in their candidates. Service-based companies such as TCS and Accenture take loads of students per year and pretty high-end companies visit too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum mainly focuses on the technical side of the subject being an engineering course. Mathematical models play a significant role in developing and extrapolating the syllabus to application level. Life sciences are also there as core subjects and electives in higher semesters. It heavily encompasses the general relevant technical aspects of modern biotechnology too.
