Remarks :

NBA accredited college, so many useful activities are conducted in our college. There is also a working NSS unit lead by Manu who is the hero of our college (2016-2020 batch). The level of education we are getting is above average and its enougj for us.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are 8 semesters and each semester has exams on all subject you have registered on that semester. Course Duration is 4 years. Every semester without last semester contains two or more lab exam which has no external examiner. If you fail in any exam ypu have chances to appear for the supplymentary exam by paying 200? for each subject.

Placement Experience :

There is an active placementcell in our college which is led by senior faculties and efficient students.They arrrange many placement drives from seventh semester itself.Also arrange training for placement in the last year.

College Events :

Main event celebrated is Auriga.Its the official name of techfest conducted by our college.Also there is arts event named Daksha and sports event named Karna.These are conducted by students with the help of faculties in each year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For management Seats 65000? per year. For Merit seats 35000? per year. For NRI seat 100000 ? per year. In addition to that there are many fee wavier schemes are avilable according to the income of the student.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Many scholarship schemes are avilable for both forward and backward castes according to their annual income.Loan facilities are also available in the college.Loans can be approved by giving the fee structure givenby the college to specified banks.

Campus Life :

Sports and arts are very supportive in this college. Labs are very well maintained and equipped with new generation instruments. College provides cricket, volleyball, handball and football kits and helps to participate the intercollege matches.

Hostel Facilities :

Seperate hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Hostel expense will around 4000-4500 per month with food. The infrastructure of the hostel is above average level and safer also. Both the hostels are located just near to the college.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. They help to conduct any programmes in the college and also they help financially. They can guide us in studies and career selection. Most of the seniors will visit college atleast once in a month and we have many friends among the seniors.

Admission :

Qualify The KEAM exam. Opt our college in Entrance portal. After getting allotment here, avoid higher options and join the college with the allotmemt memo. Pay PTA fund and quotion deposit you will get admission.

Faculty :

Faculties are very nice and friendly. Also there is a feedback taken in every month so that we can clearly convey our opinions to the faculties. If any of them need improvement we can surely tell that to them.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
