- Campus life at MIT is the best in my view.
- Diversity of students is pretty different and their languages too.
Dislikes
- Too many party clubs and pubs around the campus.
- Very high cost of studying comparing to other private colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I would like to be a pilot. The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty good and it's almost 18-20 students for a lecturer. All the professors are qualified with their Ph.D's. I don't like the teaching method as it is common for all the branches in 1st year. Term exams are conducted twice a year and it's very difficult to pass.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees don't rise in this institution (fixed) and the cost of studying is very high. Merit-based aid is given to a student based on their CGPA and MET rank. There are no other part-time jobs inside the campus (with a stipend).
Campus Life :
Campus life at MIT is awesome! The annual fest is called REVELS. It is conducted in March of every year. Tech Fest is called TECH-TATVA. It is conducted in October of every year. Books are top-notch in MIT-Central Library. I also read journals and it is very good. Classrooms are air-conditioned and digital. Sports like athletics and basketball are pretty popular. PDA, IECSE, and IEEE are some of the clubs
Admission :
The admission process is mediocre. I applied to the Manipal Entrance Test and came through MET rank basis and got Aeronautical Engineering as per my rank. You can find the application form, application fees and dates on the official website of MIT (manipal.edu). There are no reservation benefits available to a student. I don't feel there should be any improvement in the admission process as it was smooth.
