Course Curriculum Overview :

I have a personal interest in becoming an electronics engineer. About 6 faculty members for 60 students. We study different courses. The faculty members have a decade of experience and There are 3 exams in a semester. 2 are pre-finals 15 marks each with 20 marks related to assignments and practicals and one final exam of 50 marks at the end of the semester. While the B.Tech courses may be difficult with the help of studying students can score well. in their subjects. We have lab practicals and workshops for a better understanding of the concepts.

Placement Experience :

The university offers annual placements for final year students where companies like SBI, HDFC, and Nestle come. The placement for B.Tech is high with an average package of 9LPA. While placements do come, it is not 100% and students are always left out. Hence students do not depend completely on placements but look out for other opportunities. After completion of my degree, I would further study for M.Tech.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The B.Tech degree programme has a fee of almost 50 thousand per semester including hostel and food services. The fees can increase and decrease according to the hostel charges but the tuition fees is over 16 thousand per semester with other charges. Financial assistance is given to students of categories. Scholarships are also given such as NSP scholarships, university scholarships, sports scholarships, etc. The details of ongoing and new scholarships are given through the website www.gbpuat.ac.in where notices come for different scholarships.

Campus Life :

The university provides various extracurricular activities and events. There are many sports events and national events. Athletic meets and sports events are conducted 2 times a year. Different sports events are done during these meets like cricket, football, volleyball, races, basketball, tennis, kabaddi, etc. Orientation and fresher party is conducted for 1st year students. Various societies related to the extra curriculum are there run by students like College societies, Chetna, SPIC MACAY, E-cell, Placement cell, etc. The university has a campus library for students. It is one of the largest agriculture libraries in Asia. Classrooms have adequate seating space with smart boards installed for digital education. There are auditoriums, workshops and practical classes for different courses. The campus is quite spacious and easy to remember with proper roads and infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 22 hostels for students in the university. Each hostel is designated for different course students. Hostels are spacious and have good infrastructure. A specific budget for the welfare of hostels is there which is used to repair the hostels. Hostels have over 100+ rooms each comprising 3 students. Almirah, bed, chair, and study table are given. There are washing machines in some hostels too. A gym and sports ground are given too. The hostels have a cafeteria system. Food fees are 20 thousand per semester. Food quality is good and depends on the hostels. On average, food is good and has variety. Hostels are allocated during the admission process.

Admission :

In this college, we are required to clear the jee mains examination and based on that rank you are provided with different branches. The admission process was simple and smooth however many other applicants faced difficulty filling out the form and lots of documentation was required. The university has a state quota of about 85% state-reserved seats and 15% all-India seats.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good, for the students who are really focused on their studies. This college provides good opportunites and if a student js good enough and he/she is not able to get placed due to some reasons, then there are some faculties who genuinely try to place them somehwere good. Highest package I have heard is of 50 lakhs and average is of 7-8 lakhs. My plan is to get a good job from campus placement and then start a startup.

Placement Experience:

As it is an IIT the placements over here are awesome but in recent two years they have fallen down due to recession but you can also try for off campus as IIT degree has its own value that is privileged and priceless

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college are not very great some major companies just don't come here for on campus interview. Earlier the placement were really great, some of our alumni are on some great positions but after the pandemic the placement were affected. The students become eligible for campus placements in their 7th semester. The average package here is around 3.5 Lpa.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are erratic. Many students focus on GATE exam. Packages offered are 4-10 lacs. From PSU BEl is a popular recruiter. CSE and ECE students secure the highest packages. 7th semester students can sit for on campus placements.
