After i entered , it was heaven seriously speaking from a small town LPU life for me is no less than a dream life. So here are some DO's and DONTs LPU :- Alwaysintain 75% attendance otherwise you won't be allowed to give your end term examination. 2. Don't get carried away with the crowd , you won't be able to come back to real life. 3. Be as simple as possible so that distractions doesn't over come your focus . 4. Join various Organisations. Here at LPU we have more that 50 Student running organisations , take initiative and be a part in any of these. 5. Weekly , there will be functions , or something or the other so that Students inside the campus are not board , so enjoy them . 6. As i have mentioned before , be choosey to select your friends world is not good my dear . 7. Yes , LPU have more than 3000 CCTVs and security guards are present within 100mt of range , so if you feel anything uncomfortable or someone is trying to disturb or something like that take there help. Security people are really very good.
Entrance Preview :
I took lpu nest .which was conducted by lpu. I choose lpu because of its global outlook. Good campus facilities. Hostal and other facilitiesa are available in the vast campus it self. In lpu studends are also selected on the basis of their 12 scoures. Based on the test scoure and 12 marks we get the scholourship also.
Course Curriculum Overview :

The placements are good, but it has more population. Not everyone gets placed every time, so you have to try hard to be on top and learn by yourself. The companies will come, but obviously, they will only hire the best 5%. If you want to be on that, you have to be aware of everything and should not depend on teachers.
Placement Experience :
Placements at lpu are very good. The companies visiting here are very high profile. Though, the campus has not seen a high pay package since last few years at about more than 30 LPA but the average is about 9 - 10 Lacs per annum. Also, it depends upon your branch and the work you do in your domain. Moreover, the highest packages are from Hotel Management both quality and Quantity wise which are around 13 Lacs per annum. Then comes the Post graduates MBA, with an average package at high - profile corporates of 11 Lacs per annum. The third the highest are from engineering in computer Science and electrical and communication with around 8-10 Lacs per annum. Moreover, the other streams also have a decent past record.Very good placement, Lovely has tie ups with different companies of different sectors. They do visit LPU every year to find out some extraordinary students. Good Placement rate. And a good support from our university too, aiming to make a guy, eligible for job interviews, by conducting classes like soft skills, PEL, etc.
College Events :
Events are very commonly held here, students enjoy participating here. Not only fests like "Youth Vibe" are held but also reputed people also join to encourage students for the extracurricular. Celebrities keep coming, auditions like "Miss India", "Splitsvilla" and many more are also held. Our college also provides scholarships through a testOverall the campus life is fun, thrilling and moreover a good learning experience. There are lot of extra curricular activities one can opt. The surrounding is full of distractions. Fests are much time consuming and the crowd of campus is very corporate and friendly only when you chose them with care.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Lovely Professional University strongly believes that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted). Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University. In campus Hospital with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the occupants of that room.

Exam Structure :
Faculty here are very helpful and qualified, you can reach out to them any time within the college timings. Your doubts will be cleared by your own faculty or else another faculty will surely help. Teaching quality of the teachers is very good. We study on board as well as brought ppts. We have 60 students per batch. We do get industry exposure as people from companies do visit. They also provide workshops like cyber security, adobe, IOT etc. We also participate in competitive programming held in our college. Our course curriculum is okay.
Admission :
The main advantage to get the admission in this lpu is .that they provide the off campus admission centers in various parts of the globe . They aslo have some international centres for admission supports. I took admission frm my home towen in the fare conducted by them . They will provide all thr information about the admission in this lpu . We can also pay our fee accourding to our convenience there it self. If we take admission early there is a benefits of 5000 in the fee. The admission will open in may and close in August. The staff who take our admission are the same facuilty itself who teache here. So we can also interact with them and also clarify our academic doubts. The lpu is situated in punjab. Jalandhar. The transport facilites are quite well . Amritsar airport is also near by about 2 hrs frm the campus.I am experiencing the best time of my life. But with that I am missing my home and everything of my city, friends, people. But it will become a habit after some months because I have got good friends here also.
