By studying at Surendranath

Journalism is one of my favorite sudject . One of the reasons for choosing this subject is that only a journalist can highlight the good and bad aspects of our society before the people. The scope of the subject is journalism but it is huge. We can learn not only journalism but also photography, radio, film studies etc. The behaviors of all the professors in the journalism department in this college is very well. They very carefully explain all the topics thoroughly to the students so that the students do not have to face any difficulty with those topics later. Every year two semesters are taken every six months if the students do all the classes carefully and study well then they can easily pass by getting good marks

The cost of studying Journalism is around Rs 16,000 per year. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is awarded to a student who passes with 60% marks every year during graduation. However, no campusing assistance is provided by the college after graduation .

The annual fest at Surendranath College for Women is called Lakshya and is usually held in the month of November. There is a library of books by various writers related to the journal, from where students can choose books according to their needs and preferences. The classrooms are very clean and have cyber facilities. For the convenience of the students, the college has a system of student union formed by the students. Management of admission process was very easy and good. No entrance exam is required for admission in this college. Students can apply for admission on the basis of higher secondary marks. Good marks in Bengali and English subjects are required in higher secondary for admission to graduate level in Journalism. Journalism & Mass Communication course fee is 15,680 per year . For admission in this college you have to apply on the official website of the college. The admission process start and end date and all related information is provided on that website. My personal opinion is that there is no need to change the procedures for admission in this college. Because the admission process of this college is very simple which students will not have any difficulty to understand.
