Course Curriculum Overview :

My main reason of choosing this course was the healthy feedback which I received from various seniors about how "chill" this branch was. I had to decide between branch and college at my rank, which was a very difficult task but seeing that Chemical was a very balanced branch where I could get ample time to work on my skills motivated me to take this branch. The faculty here is very experienced and knows a lot about their subject. They do various types of research here and are qualified enpough to have a global recognition in world. Exams happen in three ways- Quiz, Minor and Major. Quiz are respective to professors and can happen any time, whereas Minors come in Mid Sem and Majors come at th end of each Sem. They are well wriiten in the academic calendar providded by IIT Delhi

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come on Campus to give us internships ranging from Tech to Core. We have some comapnies coming for Quant too. For eg, HUL came and give internships with a stipend of 2.2LPA and Google cam giving a stipend of 1.5LPA. Octiver, a quant company offered internship for stipend 17LPA and 26 offers were made. Companies like Adobe also came offereing many roles and proving 1.5LPA as stipend. A number of consulting giants also came and offeres around 1LPA-1.5LPA as stipend. These companies included BCG, Bane, McKinsey etc

Placement Experience :

From 7th Semester, students become eligibile for campus placements. We have OCS which keeps data of all the companies and many big companies come to IIT delhi and make around 10-15 offers. Some Quant Companies give high package but makes less offers. Highest package goes to around 3.5Cr and lowest to about 12LPA About 70% students get placed and rest 30% have other plans such as entreprenaurship, or business or higher studies. In 3rd year we can apply for internships and some students get PPOs from these internships at a decent package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is well defined and given on IIT Delhi's main website. It is about 1.5LPA for a year for a general student. Dont know about the specific amounts that reserved category people have to pay but I can say, that they have a well reduced amount to give as fees. We also have many Scholarships to provide to students with a particular critera which if they pass, they are eligible and can present their candidature for it. My friend got a scholarship so I can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure

Campus Life :

The life here at IIT Delhi is too good and hectic in a good way. We have a campus of 300 acres which is sufficient to have a college life and every month we have activities hapening which keep us engaged. There is a central library where almost every book is available and you can study there with no problems. Classrooms are fully equipped with Ac's and have ample number of seats with varying sizes of classrooms. We have way too many clubs where students can participate and explore their interests. Here, all clubs like BSW, FACC, BHM are run by students only

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms include having beds, almirahs, study tables and chairs with good quality electrical circuit boards. We have two windows in a room with two fans. They dont provide mattresses but give the option of buying at the time of orientation. Mess here is decent, not that good but okay. We have a menu which changes every month and have a Mess Secy to moderate it. Registration Process is easy where we have to give out pre defined H1-H5 forms and get it signed by caretaker. Hostel fees is about 60k per sem. It is a great experience because we have the proximity to make great bonds with other hostellers

Admission :

To get eligible for the course I had to first give JEE Mains and get qualified fr JEE Advance , in which I scored CRL 2213 to get Chemical Engineering Department in IIT Delhi through JOSAA Counseilling. Application Form and all the details were given on the JOSAA Site and schedule of all was given in a very detailed manner. The process was a little hectic, like filling all the choices took a lot of brainstorming where I had to decide College vs Branch and what would be my best option. Then after JOSAA Counseilling, some processes had to be done for IIT Delhi so that they can verify the candidate which was pretty smooth. We had offline orientation in IIT Delhi and then our college life kickstarted

Placement Experience:

Placements at DTU are good, even in core branches, but students must have the necessary skills. At DTU, over 300 companies visit, offering decent packages. The highest packages can reach crores (of course, these are international packages). Some students also prefer to pursue master's degrees or MBAs after their degree. From the third year, students are eligible for on-campus internship opportunities, and in the fourth year, they are eligible for placements. It is definitely beneficial, but you must have skills and knowledge of your subjects. Strong communication skills are also essential.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to learn coding and that's why i chose btech in computer science at igdtuw. the curriculum is not designed from the perspective of preparing you for real-world application, instead it solely depends on what should be taught at a university based on the branch. the area of improvement could be removing the unrelated subjects in the first year of engineering because no one actually learns anything from that and instead, there should be related subjects. exams are held twice a semester, making it four times a year

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

The college is known for its placements, it has great placement opportunities. The companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Uber, Walmart, Wipro, and many more visits the college for placements and offers more than 30 lacks package. The highest package offered to a student was 59. 45 lacks in the year 2021 and the average salary package was 19.15 lacks , the highest package was Google. The college provides internship opportunities as well and it gets started from the beginning of 3 Rd year of students, students in their 2 nd year also got internship opportunities. so almost all students get placed and if someone still does not get any placement so they have the opportunity to do higher study in Mtech. The college provides higher study options to students, this includes Mtech and Ph.D. courses and many more. So you can go to this college.

From the end of the 4th sem and starting of the 5th sem students can get internships easily they are eligible for placement just after the 3rd year many students get placement in the same companies they are interning in. Many companies visit the campus to take interviews n every year and give many offers to the students. The last highest offer was around 1.2 crores Nd average is around 25-30lakhs. College claims 100% of students get placed but the reality is actually around 90% get placement actually others. My plans after getting the degree will be to become the richest person in my family then in the world.

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Major companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Swiggy, Sprinkler, Blackstone etc. A few years back,8 students from NSUT got a staggering package of 1.25 Crore from Google. The average package for tech branches is around 17-18 lakhs per annum. In tech branches, it has a humbling record of 100 percent placements approximately. As of now, I'll like to do my master from abroad after completing BTech from NSUT
