Course Curriculum Overview
I Choose this course because I wanted to be a writer and the BJMC course at VIPS is designed to prepare students for a career in journalism and mass communication, it aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of media. the faculty to student ratio is thin there is 1 teacher for every 60 students.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure can change over time and can differ between academic years, the fee hike policy and cost to study is very high even during lockdown students had to submit the entire fee. I did a few marketing and content writing internships that gave me about 10k per month.
Campus Life
the college life is really good there are different types of students with whom you can interact and there are several different clubs to join there are multiple annual fests for each department. VIPS might encourage students to participate in media-related clubs, events, and competitions to enhance their practical skills and foster their creativity.
Admission
I can provide you with a general overview of the typical admission process that was in place during the tie of my admission Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements for your course which were very basic for my selected course. after that, you had to fill out a form for the CET, for most undergraduate courses at VIPS admission is conducted through the common entrance test. after the CET the university will release the results and cutoff ranks for various courses, you need to check whether your CET rank meets the required cutoff rank for the course selected. if you meet the cutoff rank you will be called for counselling. during the counseling process, you will have to fill out the preference form indicating your choice of college. once the seats are allocated you will undergo document verification. ensure you have all the required documents. after the document verification, you will need to pay the admission fees to confirm your seat in the institute.
