Dislikes

  • things I disliked about TAPMI or manipal ingeneral is the constant rainfall we have to face

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because Tapmi is a well-known B-school across the nation and it is also been accredited with AACSB and AMBA. student-to-faculty ratio is around 13:1. all the teachers present here are highly qualified in their respective fields, they have academic teaching experience of many years and most of them have done Ph.D. or are about to complete their PHD. I haven't given any exams till now.

Internships Opportunities :

I am currently new to TAPMI and have very less knowledge about actual figures but it is for sure that everyone will get a paid SIP and a decent job. You need to keep your hands dirty with various courses and live projects in order to boost your profile.

Placement Experience :

the placement record of TAPMI is famous among all the B-schools as TAPMI holds a record of 100% placement since the time of its inception. there are many companies that visit the campus like Capgemini, arcesium, ITC, Nestle, HSBC, etc. average package 14.6 lakh. highest is around 25 lakh.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee for 2 years is around 21.6 lakh including the hostel but excluding food and electricity. I don't have any adequate knowledge about the fee hike policy. the total cost of studying for 2 years in Tapmi will be around 24 lakh including everything.

Campus Life :

the annual fest's name is Atharva. the college has provided books to each and every student and we can also issue additional books from the library. the classrooms are very well structured and have all the necessary amenities like full air conditioning, and big computer screens for presentations.

Admission :

You need to have a valid cat/xat/GMAT/nmat score to be eligible for TAPMI. You can easily find the application form on the college's website, just write TAPMI apply now, and you will get the desired page I haven't availed of any reservation benefits till now, the college will give us information about the same afterward. the admission was very smooth but interview dates were far stretched for over a month, maybe because of the high number of applicants.

Placement Experience:

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
