Hostel life- you get full personal space with single room(very rare even in iits) a group of 6 people is immediately formed after joining the college.
Sports- me personally liking badminton, there is a badminton court in every hostel.

There is very less greenery in campus. Being a new Iit.
Cricket stadium has no pitch . We have to roll it ourselves.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is more towards electronics and communication. In Indore EE and ECE are taught under the same branch. All the faculties are Ph.D. from reputed universities around the world. The teaching is more practical and not based on rote learning. The reason to choose this course was basically the tag of the circuital branch. You can easily pass the exams by attending the lectures and studying a week before.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In electrical, major companies giving internships are Texas instruments, QUALCOMM and NVidia, etc. There are some written tests, technical rounds, and HR rounds. The roles are mostly entry-level design engineers, learning types, etc. The stipend can range anywhere from 30k to 1.5 lac a month.

Placement Experience :

Being an IIT, placements are one of the best things about my college. Above 90% of the students get placed. The students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards. The highest package offered for 2023 is 78 lacs per annum and the average package is around 23 lacs. The companies include Rakuten, Texas instruments, tcs, Wiper, Microsoft, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee is 1 lac per semester and hostel and mess fees are around 30k. It has been stable for the past 3 years. The placement cell helps in getting scholarships and training students for industry. The opportunities are excellent because of the tag of IIT.

Campus Life :

Campus life is amazing. (a bit hectic sometimes:) Fluxus is our annual techno-cultural event which is held in March. There is a swimming pool, indoor multipurpose court, cricket, and football stadium. There are many cultural and technical clubs like cricket, electronics, music, drama, etc. to be a part of. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with smart screens. The library has plenty of resources and is completely digitalized.

Hostel Facilities :

There is a flat system in IIT Indore. Each flat has 6 single occupancy rooms with a common area. There is enough space for everything. Even fans are remote-controlled. The food quality is awesome and you get all kinds of dishes from north and south. The menu is weekly. We also get a special dinner at the end of each month. The hostels are inside the campus and near to the classrooms and dining area.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

The admissions were through JOSSA counseling. Accepted exam is jee advanced. To qualify for advanced you have to give jee mains. The cut-off for the general category in electrical engineering is 3828 ranked in 2022.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science and engineering is the upcoming future and as we all know the first choice of the student is to choose CSE as there is a lot of job in CSE in upcoming days months years etc.All work shifted to digital that's why there is more need for software engineers. Here faculty members are good .They will support you in all kind of thing you need in learning but also Strict in case of any mistake and wrong things done .Teachers are well qualified and graduated from IIT, NIT and other famous named Colleges but all this depend upon you how you play your role. There is 200-300 students in the CSE branch and Competition here is good. Term examination occurs consecutively there is 3 exams in a sem and 2 practical paper exam and the difficulty is average and quality of questions is good you can learn more from them.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it has good placements. I developed interest in electronics in grade 11 and hence the course. It is a reputed college for years now having AA affiliation and NBA affiliation.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. We have companies like Dell, Endurance, Direct-I, Nokia, PwC, Robert Bosch, Epicor, Philips, L&T, Siemens etc. On an average, about 80 companies visit the campus every year. 82% of the people get placed in the campus.

Remarks:

Good college if you didn't got rank for NIT in mains exam.The extra assignment always fed, so I won't make any comments over these. Here you will get a decent college life but it can't be said about the nightlife of college, yaa there are some restrictions but it can be Avoided. Overall if you want nit or iit but felling short of marks, you can get here.

Placement Experience:

As I am new I this institute I don't have much knowledge about placement but I have a rough idea about it.after some research I found that the placements are really great. The highest package was also good ad the average package is also great. major 'it' companies like Google and Microsoft have come in the past also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose information technology. It is one of the courses which I want to study. The institute really focuses on the practical and labs and their management is also very good. Regular labs are held according to the assigned timetable. The researched field is always open for the students of this institute as it has the Ph.D. course as well. There are also other facilities that are required for starting a career in research.
