Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is a mix of fluid mechanics and computer science i.e. we have a lot of mechanical courses in 3rd semester and programming and DSA in 3rd. There are 114 faculties in the mechanical department itself... The faculties are IIT/NIT graduates. The teaching method is quite methodical and cohesive, at par with the new NEP. The exams are taken four times a year 2being mid-term and 2 being end-term.

Internships Opportunities :

Intern opportunities are presented from the 3rd year itself. The college presents a large array of internship opportunities from the 6th semester from companies like Microsoft, Atlassian, Amazon, reliance, etc.

Placement Experience :

There is almost a placement record of 98%. This year the highest placement was at 80 lpa, the average at 14, and the median at 12. Companies like Atlassian, TCS, and Amazon visit here for the placement season. Regarding placement, this college ranks among the top-tier ones.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees remain fairly constant. The annual fee is 250000. The Scholarships are provided on the basis of family income. Though there are no on-campus jobs as such but you can surely take in internships by developing good soft skills.

Campus Life :

Campus life is moderately good. The sports facilities are nice. Lecture Hall complexes are fully air-conditioned with digital screens. Besides this, there are a lot of clubs and societies to be a part of in the college. eg: The Literary and Debating Club, Rooh, Aawahan for Dramatics, NSS, Sankalp, Go green club, and an array of other tech and cultural clubs.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are quite spacious, fully tiled, and well-maintained. The hostel campus is quite large and aesthetic. Hostels are provided for each and every student on the day of physical verification. The meals are provided 4 times a day. The quality and quantity of food provided is arguably good.

Hostel Fee : INR 92000 per year

Admission :

Admissions are taken in from the JEE Mains exam score following which JOSAA counseling takes place. After seat allotments are declared, candidates are called in for physical verification on the college campus.

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
