Course Curriculum Overview :

The food Technology course is the study of food processing, preservation, biochemistry, microbiology, the chemistry of food and even food packaging. Our faculty members are very knowledgeable and friendly they always guide us.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 102000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship percentage is 95%-98%. Most of the students get internships. We do projects base on food waste management, food production, and food packaging and we also do lots of interactive classes, presentations and even paper presentations on food topics.

Placement Experience :

Companies visited here are KEVENTER agro, Nestle, Parle biscuits, Cookme. Package are from 2 to 5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placements are 95% to 98%.I want to be a food technichian and want to do job in food company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our College provides Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship SVMCM. Tuition fees are a waiver scheme. Campusing is done companies are keventer agro, cookme, parle biscuits, nestle. The placements are good.

Campus Life :

GNIT have a medical room, indoor games room, gymnasium and even a stationary shop xerox centre, and hostels. GNIT has 7 acres big campus with sports fields and a canteen. Tech fests and cultural fests are smoothly conducted on this GNIT campus. GNIT have smart classrooms, a well-established library hall, a seminar hall, an auditorium and best and most beneficial laboratories.

Admission :

Class 12 mark sheet and West Bengal Joint Entrance Rank Card are required. The admission process in this college is very smooth and all the employees are very helpful. They guide us. Your identical proofs are required like a board registration card, aadhar card.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
