Course Curriculum Overview :

PGDM is more of a practical course where we learn about how corporate world works in real time. We get more practical knowledge which we can apply in real world. Learnings are not only based on books but real challenges corporate face and how they deal with with the problem. This practical knowledge is something which i always wanted to know and learn and incorporate them in our life. Faculty is really helpful. They are always there to guide us and help in trying something new. For example, in class we developed a new logistics supply chain model for those big companies in the logistics business. Not only we developed the new supply chain model but also identified flaws in the existing model and made the supply chain more effective and economical. Our professors helped us doing this, where can we get such support and guidance where we can literally challenge how our supply chain model is way more effective. This is just one example from our classroom.

Internships Opportunities :

There were many companies offering us internship with a quite handsome stipend. We learned a lot through our internships since it was out first exposure to the corporate world. Learning was always our first priority. But we were paid for our learning which is more like overwhelmng for us.

Placement Experience :

After completing 2nd semester students are eliglible for campus placements. Around 120+ companies visited our campus and the offers were very lucrative for everyone. Globsyn Business School CRP team always helped us in self development and guided us through the placement process. They always clarified our doubts and motivated us for grabbing the best opportunity. Whenever we had self doubts CRP team stood by us and motivated us and constantly provided the support we needed. Cant thank enough our CRP team for all the suport and guidance we were provided with.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost in totally justified compare to other colleges since the depth of knowledge we get from Globsyn Business School and the guidance from the faculty. There is scholarship program available for the deserving students and the students who need scholarship. Globsyn Business School always stands with thier student whenever we need help. Summer internship is also their in our college where students can earn stipend and also get experience in corporate world.

Campus Life :

Globsyn Business School believes in serious fun. Having fun while learning things which we can incorporate in real life. In every event we organised we learnt something new about managerial skills be it sports or cultural program or blood donation camps. We also learnt the importance and art of giving back to the society. Helping others who need help. In campus we always learn something new through fun activities. We have a group where we all organise programs to help people in need in which ever way possible with help of our faculties.

Admission :

Need to appear for an entrance exam like GMAT or MAT. Globsyn Business School also conducts their own entrance exam in which we need to pass and after passing the entrance exam we need to go GD and PI process. And if we qualify then only we can get in Globsyn Business School. Application forms are available on the internet from where we can apply for admission.

Interview Experience :

Yes I did face the Group Discussion and interview after I pass my written test exam. Topics were something on current affair and situation that is Online Studies vs Offline Studies. I prepared myself reading newspaper and online articles and getting basic knowledge how to face an interview.

Good campus vibes

Placement Experience:

Students can avail the degree also if they are already in a job in blended mode. Internships are given to students once they complete their 2nd semester exams. Final placements can be given after the completion of 3rd semester. Lots of job opportunities are given to the students.

Unlocking success - My journey at Globsyn Business School

Placement Experience:

Typically, students become eligible for campus placements in the second year i.e. after completing the compulsory summer internship program. Companies visiting the campus can vary from year to year, but few to mention Big 4 companies visit every year, FMCG brands, startups, banks and NBFCs provide placements to students every year. Almost 100% of students get placed every year. As I am already placed in a Big4, I am planning to join that after getting my degree.

In their fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Among the well-known companies that were visited were Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase & Company, Goldman Sachs, and DE Shaw. No, 200 offers were made. The largest package available is Rs. 80 lakhs, with the average package being Rs. 22 lakhs. Among the offered profiles are those in finance, sales, and marketing, consulting, international business, information technology, analytics, and trade. Every child was assigned a place. I wish to work for a reputable multinational business organization after I graduate.

Everyone knows about IIT placements. IIT provides a wide range placement opportunities for deserving candidates. Throughout our batch placement drive, a total of 80 companies came to our campus, and everyone got a nice package. Some of the prominent names that participated in the placement drive were ITC, Accenture, Wipro, Google, Microsoft, and Infosys. Our batch's highest package was 22 LPA, while the lowest was 14 LPA.

Remarks:

The institute department of which I was a student is one of oldest Management Institute functional under an University in Eastern India. Very recently it has secured NAAC- A grade and has consistently scored good reviews in nirf ranking and have been featured as a best management institute in Eastern zone for 3 successive years by Business Review magazine.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at the institute is average in terms of the companies coming to the campus. The IT giants are frequent takers while large FMCG or other companies are not big takers. Students find their placements mainly through off campus via different referrals & placing resumes through channels. The placement department has been active and need more assistance in terms of getting good companies to come down to the campus. Alumni network helps through getting proper referrals whereas that also need to be more assisted to have a good rapprt being established and maintained in time to come. There is a Entrepreneurship Cell attached to the Engineering department. But not in Management Institute.

Entrance Preview:

I passed CAT exam for this curriculum. I got 40 percentiles. The course is all about finance and I wanted to specialize over it from the beginning, so I had to choice this course.In CU there was GD and personal interview had been held.I had to pass those two round before my admission in CU.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities are average.It is arranged by the placement committee and the placement officer himself. The officer discussed with the higher authority about the placement companies and according to that the brochure and the student details along with the invitation letters have been delivered to the respective companies local or head quarter address.
