CBS Admissions 2024
Calcutta Business School offers admission to its PGDM program on the basis of a valid score in CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, JEMAT. CBS also conducts its own aptitude test for CBSAT. All Candidates are required to qualify CBSAT to get selected for GD/PI round. Candidates who wish to apply may do so by applying online from the official website.
Here are the steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit https://calcuttabusinessschool.org/
Step 2: Click on the ‘PGDM Admission’ link tab at the top of the page.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Click to Apply’ option.
Step 4: Fill all the relevant details and click ‘Next’ to sign in.
Step 5: The applicant will receive an application number and password.
Step 6: Login using ID and Password.
Step 7: Enter all academic details upload a copy of the scanned photograph (480x640 pixels.) and proceed for payment.
Step 8: Pay the application fee of INR 1000 + convenience Charge of INR 25 via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.

- Infrastructure: Calcutta Business School’s sprawling 15-acres eco-friendly campus at Bishnupur at the outskirts of Kolkata is one of the largest dedicated Business School campuses in India. At the simple and official level I applied for this college when the score of the cat released in my counselling form I just put it this college and got a mail after some days that my seat is reserved and I can claim for that.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum was very distinct and thorough. Our course spanned over 2 years, and was divided into trimester system. We learned a number of subjects and theories like business economics, impact of IT on consumer behaviour, financial extraction, etc. We learned a lot from the course. Exams were organised at the end of each semester.

Our institute has a pretty decent course structure, carefully curated in order to provide the students a 360 degrees view of the business management. My specialisation was finance and the curriculum helped me upscale my learning from a managerial perspective. Our typical day at the institute was mostly about classroom sessions, attending workshops, ppts, assignments, etc.

Food was not that much good it was just ok, Teachers was behaving rude most of the time to students and infrastructure was good and placement facility is good college life was fun missing those days.

PGDM course has a 2-tier structure. The first year is committed to develop the business fundamentals through compulsory courses spanning over different areas of management studies. The second year offers the following five clusters with ten courses in each.

College has facilities like basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, table tennis, full-fledged and well-equipped gymnasium, snooker, cricket, football, and student lounge with TV.

Course curriculum of this college is like, AICTE approved PGDM is accepted by all Government, public and private sector organisations in India and abroad for offering employment where the minimum eligibility criteria is a Post Graduate Degree or equivalent. Most universities in India and abroad accept AICTE approved PGDM as a recognised eligibility criteria for admission of Ph. D programs.

College gives best education, excellent faculty, placement facility is the best facility. I am feeling lucky to be a part of this college.
