Course Curriculum Overview :

The reason for selecting this course is because my JEE rank. Yes, the faculty was good. The student: faculty ratio is 22:1. Most of the faculty was completed their PhD from different respective colleges. Teaching method was also good. They used the pdf slides to explain. In our college they conduct 4 examination in a semester. 3Assessement exam and 1 End sem exam. No difficulty to pass the exam.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 1300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Amazon offers an internship with a good stipend. They offer the post of a software developer. I don't know more about the project and tasks because I am in my first year and I do not have any idea about them.

Placement Experience :

From 6sem students are eligible for the placement. Amazon, Jio, Nykaa, public sapient, IBM, cognizant, etc. The highest package for 2023 is 45.64lpa (Amazon) with an average package of 12lpa. The lowest package from college is 7.8lpa. 82% of students placed till now. My plans after getting a degree are to be placed in good company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of our college is 1300000/4 year including mess and hostel fees. Yes, you have options for scholarships like state scholarships and private scholarships also. Yes, you got placement on campus. The placement of our college is good.

Campus Life :

Every year we conducted freshers' party, annual fest, etc. The size of our library is small there are some limited books available only. We have a city campus in Imphal of 13acre. But our permanent campus is ready in 2024 and is spread over 150 acres. But on our city campus, the sports facility is good. In March 2023 we went to IIIT Kanchipuram for inter IIIT sports meet. We have volleyball, basketball, football, kabaddi, badminton team. We have a cricket team but the ground was not there. We also have chess.

Hostel Facilities :

I am in my first year and my room there is 4 student/room but the room is adjustable. They provide a study table, bed, chair, and almirah. Electricity is 24/7. You got unlimited wi-fi. The quality of food is improving day by day. Yes, the menu is very good they provide 4 meals in a day. Registration for a hostel is done by students online.

Hostel Fee : INR 37000 per year

Admission :

First you have to fill the application form of jee mains which is conducted by NTA. Eligibility criteria for this course, you have to score 75% in your 12th examination. Application fees for jee mains form is RS 650. Yes there is a reservation for OBC, SC, and ST. There was a counselling conducted by jossa and csab.

IIIT MANIPUR Worth going for?

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies come to our each year and almost 80 percent of candidates who are eligible for placement drives get job offers. Keep in mind 6.5 cpi is a necessary requirement to sit in placement drives also with no backlogs.

IIIT Manipur. Worth going for

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies visit this college each year and most of the 80 percent of the eligible candidates get a job offer. Well candidates below 6.5 cpi are not eligible for placement drives and they must not have any backlogs too. Average and minimum salary of this college is pretty decent for its ranks with 10 lakhs as an average package

My POV on NIT Manipur

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are elgible from 5th semester. Offers of campus placements from companies are usually IT sector companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package is around the range of 25 lakhs. The average package ranges around 6-7 lakhs. Around 70-75% of students gets placement each year. My plans after this degree is to go for civil exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course is due the factors such as future career aspirations, passion, parental influence, job opportunities, etc. Our college curriculum prepares the students with benefits to deal with the real world such as a broader sense of community and more opportunities for collaboration. Some suggestions are supporting academic risk, building collaborative relationships, and many other benefits. Exams should be done in such a manner that it provides a good gap Between exams for the students to be mentally and physically stable.

woeful reality of NIT Manipur

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good but have seen a certain decline in 2023-24 due to the recession as well as the situation in Manipur. Companies like Amazon, Discovery, and Edfora have visited our campus. The highest package of 47LPA was offered to only one student, while most of the most of the students have got placements under 14LPA.

Placement Experience:

After 8 semester students become eligible for campus placement but he may get pre placement offer of he so talented L&T , Tech Mahindra , Tata, BEL, INFYOSIS , wipe out, powegrid, Microsoft, etc companies have 147 placement offers. 80 percent are placed. My plans are to do business after graduation.

A nice place to grow with whole lot of oppurtunities

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, the students become eligible for placements. Almost all tech giants visit the campus like Amazon, Cognizant, Discovery, Samsung, Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, etc. The highest package offered is 47 LPA by Amazon and the average package is 10 LPA. 70% of the students get placed and you can opt for higher studies too.
