Brief review of The Enlightening IIM i.e. IIM Bodh Gaya.

Remarks :

The entrance exam for the MBA course was CAT. The eligibility criteria for the exam is a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. All the necessary information, like the application form, fees, and dates, can be found on the official CAT portal or other educational websites.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I decided to pursue an MBA in marketing to gain a deeper understanding of the business world and develop the skills necessary to succeed in a competitive marketplace. Marketing, in particular, has always fascinated me due to its dynamic and constantly evolving nature. The faculty-to-student ratio at the college is healthy, and highly qualified faculties are being added every term. We have a trimester pattern, and in every term, mid-term and end-term exams are conducted. With decent effort, it is easy to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Various companies start coming in August with various internship roles. Roles for all domains, like marketing, sales, finance, HR, operations, etc., are available on the campus. More detail regarding the companies visited, and the stipend offered is available on the website.

Placement Experience :

For summer internships, the companies start coming in August, and the season lasts till February or March. The final placements also start around the same time, and most students are placed before December. 100% of students get placed through the campus itself. The highest package of around 48 lakhs was offered, with an average package of around 16 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is available on the college website and keeps changing every year. Various scholarships are provided to deserving candidates. Various banks in the city provide IIM-specific loans to students without any collateral. So it is fairly easy to secure finances for the course.

Campus Life :

Campus life is vivacious and more fun if you are part of a club or committee. The annual fest "Elegante" is held with much enthusiasm among other events. All the required books and journals are available in the library, and the college also provides various online subscriptions. From this year, the classes will be held on the new campus. These classrooms are equipped with all the modern amenities.

Hostel Facilities :

The new hostels are ready, and they are equipped with all the necessary amenities for the students. In a room, a bed, a mattress, a cupboard, etc. are provided. The mess facilities are on par with other IIMs.

Admission:

Student applying for admission for 2 years full-time MBA Program should have passed graduation from a recognized University or Institute with at least 45% marks. It’s a distance college so students have to submit all the necessary documents and fees without any hassle of entrance test or interviews.

Placement Experience:

The college does not provide placement. The college is not responsible for the placement of students as it an open school of learning. Students study here to complete courses and do other stuff because of which the number of students study here is high.

PS

Admission:

Admissions are granted on the basis of a merit list which is created on the basis of a number of factors like: entrance test scores, essay writing test, group discussion round, personal interview, individual work experience, etc. Entire admission process was pretty hectic.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty articulate and serependous in our college. Big Brands like Coca-Cola, Shoppers Stop, Nestle, SBI, Berger paints, Axis, etc. Packages offered during our batch were in between 4-11 LPA, which was pretty decent. We received full support for the placement process as well as internship process.

CAT - 84.63, I surely gave interview in many different institutes and got accepted in almost every one but I chose CIMP when I came to know about the faculties and the diligence they have for shaping up an individual. I never regretted, neither when I was a student nor today when I am recognised as an alumnus.

Placement Experience:

At CIMP the average salary package is 5.5 lacs to 7 lacs, ranging from 12 lacs to 3.8 lacs.Companies who came for recruitment were, ITC, GCMMF, TASL, AMBA FINANCE, L&T, BRLPS, DIGITAL GREEN, NDDB, MOTHER DAIRY, and many more with 100% placements. We had more than 2 opportunities per student.
