yes the college management should look after the some problems of M.TECH students and also allow them to be a part of all palacement activities like B.tech students.
Entrance Preview :
I cleared gate 2014 an git admitted into JIIT. I have got a decent rank. Its microelectronics is good and luckily i got that branch for my M.tech. No there is no interview. they take students on basis of GATE rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course curriculum is very industry based. It has been designed by keeping in the minds of recent industry needs by group of educationist expert in their relevant field.The course has a very sharp focus on the research. the whole curriculum is designed that bound you to have some research based approach.
Internships Opportunities :
No , they do not provide internship to M.tech students. They arrange the process for you if you wish to take internship from college. They provied me stipend of 8000 per month as i have cleared gate .
Placement Experience :
JIIt has one of the best placeent records in whole NCR. they have a seperate placement cell to look after all this matter which is sole responsible for all the placement activities in institutes. the companies do come in Jaypee are as WIPRO, INFOSYS , TCS,tech mahindra. they have MOU’s with IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, NIIT Tech, Accenture for imparting lnowledge in special domains and niche areas of IT / CSE / ECE.
College Events :
The college has two cultural fest and some technical fest and workshops. There is a two college fest which is get celebrated in the college in the December and march. one is of sports fest and other is cultural fest in which any student can take part and show his/her talent. The technical workshops organised on regular basis so that the students can get the parasitical overview of the whole system.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is quite feasible as it not too high and also less from many other engineering colleges. You have to paay the fee in the semster end and in the form of cheque or Bank DRAFT in the name of JIIT,NOIDA. They do not charge any hidden costs aand will give all or i can say more than that what you will pay for.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No i have not get any scholarship. But i do Getting the TA ships for clearing the gate exam. in jaypee if you have good gate score then you are eligible for 12000 monthly stipend from college and you you have been assigend a work load of 8 hours a week.
Campus Life :
JIIT believes in overall development and maintaining the gender equity in the campus. They never differenciate in the men or womwen,each of them are treated equally good. Hostel Facilities :
The administration of hostel is administered by a faculty member for boys hostel and girls hostel respectively as the Hostel Wardens. The overall charge of student’s discipline and hostel administration vests in the Chief Warden. All the hostel rooms are provided with LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity with 24 hours internet through the main server of the academic block. Reading rooms and additional sports facilities like table-tennis rooms, chess and carom rooms. The hostel is also connected with outdoor sports centers for lawn-tennis, basket-ball, volley-ball and badminton. The hostels are equipped with generators in order to provide 24 hour’s electricity supply, water heaters, water freezer etc.
Alumni/Alumna :
ye they are very helpful, as they guide you when you ask. Whenever you feel some help to be taken by the alumimis you should just have to mail them of message them. In most of the cases the replies do come.
Exam Structure :
The JIIt has very rigorous curriculum for the students. they are very much focused about the students career. the whole curriculum is divided in to four semester in which the to semester in each year. Each semester has two exams one in the mid of the semester and another in the last of the semester. the questions generally asked in the exams are not fro the book but they have been so framed that it dealt with some practical approach.
Admission :
The notification was reeled in the month of January. In the notification they mention the detailed about the courses and the admission process. I fill the form and then mention my gate registration details and submit it with my all photocopies education documents and send it to their address. Then they released their shortlist in the website and you have also get a mail and informed through the post. then you have to visit the institute with all the originals and one attested copies. they do they check of all the documents and then after the registration process starts. In llast you have to submit the first semester fee.
Faculty :
The JIIT comprises of one the best pool of educationalist and they have been very dedicated towards their work. They know how to teach the students effectively and promisingly so that they do not feel bore and exhausted during their classes. Maximum number of Faculties are PH.D. holders and and are with good academic grounds. Some of them have worked in the industry for 10-15 years and then opt to taech the stundents.
