Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course because I want to go into business line. There are a total of 35 teachers. They teach in a proper manner and help us a lot with their knowledge. Two sessional exams are conducted and gap between both sessional exams is one month. It's not quite hard to pass the exam. Everything taught in the class comes in the exam.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The students below the poverty line can get free admission and students above the poverty line have to pay 5550 as admission fees. And for registration, everyone has to pay 1350 for the first-semester exam.

Campus Life :

Students freshers are organized after one month of starting the new session of the first semester. All course books are found in the college library apart from it other knowledge related books is also found in the library. The classroom consists of a proper desk and bench, fans, tube lights, and a projector screen for the PPT presentation. College week is held during starting period of the second sessional and many indoor and outdoor games are held during sports week and the end of the sports week an event is also organized. The college has NSS and NCC teams.

Admission :

To get this course you have to be an h.s pass. The application form can be found on the college's official website. The application form fee is 150. The students who have scored more than 65 percent can get direct admission and the rest students to have to wait for the merit list.

Overall a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took commerce stream after 10th, so the most obvious choice for me was B.Com.(Hons) because of it's wide scope and applicability. This is a very old and prestigious college of Guwahati, Assam. There is not much pressure during the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

About my college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love their teachings, I can't speak assamese and when they teach in Assamese I can't understand anything but the teaching is mostly English and Hindi so I'm grateful to teachers, the mark system is crazy, they just gave us whatever they feel like giving, like it always ends with 5 or 0 for eg. 55 65 80 30 etc
