Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in both Mathematics and Computer Science. I was more interested in learning the mathematical foundations of computer science, rather than just the application of it. faculty: student ratio is very low. There are generally more than 100 students in a usual class. Faculty members are highly qualified and have done their Ph.D. and post Docs from renowned Indian and international universities. The teaching method is basically going through slides in subjects other than maths and for maths, they write on the projectors and boards. There is 1 Minor and 1 Major evaluation. In some semesters, there can be 2 minors and 1 major, it is announced beforehand. Exams are very difficult to score and it is quite hard to maintain a decent GPA here.

Internships Opportunities :

There are not many internship opportunities for second-year students. Uber and Jane's street are the main companies that hire second-year students. For penultimate year students, companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Reddit, Graviton, Optiver, Uber, Bosch, etc. come for hiring. Projects can be industry projects or research intern projects. Outcomes are: it helps to gain more on-field and theoretical and applied knowledge.

Placement Experience :

Campus Placements - From the 7th semester onwards. There is no such company that had come to IIT Delhi and made no offer. The average package is 15-20lpa and the highest package is 1crore+ . (all in INR) Around 80% of students are placed in IIT Delhi. My plan is to do a job for some years and then do an MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is relatively high and costs approx 2 lakhs INR per year. The fee hike policy is decided by the institute's Senate, which reviews the fee structure every year and ensures that the fee hike is reasonable and does not put undue pressure on the student. There are many scholarships like Jindal Scholarship, Endowment Fund Scholarship, Merit Cum means scholarship, etc. All have some eligibility criteria. Income and grade are the most important criteria, however. There is a dedicated Placement cell, which provides 1 internship and 1 job opportunity to all the students. Though, You should be selected in the selection process.

Campus Life :

Annual cultural fest - Rendezvous Tech fest - Tryst There are more than 6000 books and more than 100000 journals in the library of IIT Delhi and books can be made available in 1 monthly period on demand. The lecture hall complex is very big and all the classes are held there. There are lifts, washrooms, and drinking water on each floor. Also, all the rooms have centralized ac. There are big sports grounds. There is a separate court for each sport and a newly built Mittal sports complex for Indoor games as well. All the clubs are maintained by students. In some big clubs like eDC, SInC, Robotics, etc., a professor is also assigned to supervision. Other clubs are FACC, PFC, DevClub, ANCC, Dance, Music, Drama, etc. To conclude, there is something for everybody.

Hostel Facilities :

Bed and 1 almirah in the room. Small rooms. Mess is not good. The menu is not good most days. The menu does not change regularly. Hostels are affordable and available to all the students who are not living within 12km of the campus.

Admission :

Eligibility of Course: Firstly JEE Mains, which is a pre-requisite for JEE Advanced, should be cleared. Then you need to clear JEE Advanced and get a decent rank according to your dream branch and dream college. As for MNC in IIT Delhi, for general boys, it generally closes to around 300 and for gen girls, it closes to around 900. Source of Application Form: NTA for JEE Mains, JEE.adv.in the website for JEE Advanced Application fees: around 1000 for JEE Mains and 3000 for JEE Advanced Application Dates: For Jee mains, around 1-2 months before exam dates, and for JEE Advanced, after the release of JEE Mains results. Reservation Benefits: Lower cutoffs for both exams, more preference in seat allocation, fewer application fees The current admission process is good according to me.

Placement Experience:

Placements are going abyssmal recently. due to sudden hike in number of students and the recession going on, there is utter discomfort among students regarding the placement season. most companies do visit the campus, but theyjust take 2 or 3 students and leave. the packages are pretty good, but only few people get to bag those. so at the end of season, there is a few population placed in good companies, and a big population left unemployed.

Good placement opportunities student can sit for placement from 7th semester companies will come. Avg package for cse/IT is around 7 lpa and for ece is 4-5 lpa. No good internship opportunities on campus you have to try off campus. Top recruiters are zomato, chayos, amazon, zs associates, josh technology, tcs, juapay, cvent, cognizant, yamaha and many more companies.... Highest package is 50 lpa in Microsoft and lowest is 3.5 lpa.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okayish nor too good neither too bad the average package here is around 6 lpa which is less but some companies do come and place the students in the campus itself also the network of alumni is good they also apply for offcampus placement and try build a network for the juniors. We often get internship notification from our seniors only

Course Curriculum Overview:

DU has many reputable colleges and departments that offer high-quality education, but like any institution, there may be variations in the quality of education depending on the specific course, faculty members, resources available, and other factors. there is some frequency for exam along with your perspective on their moderate level

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester companies started hiring interns which happens incampus obviously and they also pay kind of decent stipend somewhere around 20-40k. Placements here is decent enough like if you want that 1cr package you'll have to look for off campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue engineering and ipu has a great reputation. placements is also decent.Faculty is nice and teaching method is also nice. Student ratio is pretty bad especially in cse. There are two exams in one semester the midsem and endsem. Exams are moderately difficult. The college is also in a very lively location in Delhi and has many places for students to hang out. Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit. It's easy to pass the exams If you study from teachers notes because most of the questions are related to their notes in midsem and endsem. Exams are of 30 marks and 75 marks and passing marks are 12 and 30.But the cse branch is considered as top branch in the msit and is preferred over the other branches is what I have been told by the seniors. The faculty is quite qualified and know how to teach labs are also well maintained .
