Course Curriculum Overview

It was the course out there offered by best iit. Also, it is rank that decides the branch. Faculty are highly qualified with PhDs from foreign universities and loy of papers published. The minor and major exams are pretty difficult and they fall after 1 month's duration.

Internships Opportunities

Although internship opportunities are fewer compared to placements a lot of students get internship opportunities but many big companies like Google Facebook and Amazon do come offer internships to students.

Placement Experience

Students are offered placements usually in their final year. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and BCG visit the campus. The highest package is around 2 crores and the average package is 15 lacs. Most of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is around 220000 and the hostel fee is 60000 annually. There are various scholarships based on cgpa as well as others from endowment funds. Tuition fee is waived for students with annual family income less than 5 lacs.

Campus Life

The annual fest Rendezvous is celebrated in March and the annual tech fest Tryst is also conducted. Our college is equipped with the best library having books from a very diverse range of subjects. Classrooms are air-conditioned and almost all sports like football, volleyball, cricket squash tennis, etc are available.

Admission

Admission is offered through jee advanced and jee mains. The applications can be found at jeeadv.ac.in and there are reservation benefits for socially backward societies. There is weightage to board percentage also.

Placement Experience:

For M.Tech students our college allow 12 Month intern and companies will start visiting for this from the month of October itself and some companies also offer full time offer. These include companies like Striker, Siemens EDA, NXP Semiconductors, Intel etc. These companies generally offer stypend of around 40-60K and Symens EDA offered full time offer. At the end of the 2nd year almost 90% of the batch is placed and average is around 14 and median around 13.

placements are offered on the campus. the last mass recruiter was google and facebook. hcl and microsoft. they hired lot of students and the highest package offered was 30lakh per annum and it was amazing. i was quite amazed. i was offered 15lakh package after bachelors but i wanted to go fot masters and hetr i am.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in power electronics that's why I opted for this course. In different iits they float the different program like in iit kanpur there is power engineering & in iit delhi there are mtech program in power electronics, control, power system etc. Overall on combining all the sub domain of electrical approximately 80-90 gets student got admission in iit delhi in 2022-23. After getting admission, within two month we have to give minor exam & the pattern of exam & time schedule highly attracted me.

Best years of My life!

Placement Experience:

placements are very good and each year the numbers keeps on getting better. In year 2022, 50 students got offer above 1cr. and over a 1000 students got placed in 15 days. The average package goes upto 20 lakhs. Computer science and Electrical departments have the best figure in terms of placements. Mostly companies come for frofiles like Software Developer , Quantitative researcher/ trader, Data scientist/analyst and hardware engineer(VLSI).

My first iit experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

i chose this course as handeling a project in civil engineering seems very intruiging to me. we have 22 students in our class. faculty in iit delhi are highly qualified and the teaching methods adopted are very interactive and interesting. we have to mid semester exam and one final semester exams, the shcedule for which is provided in the beginning of the semester itself.

Doomsday Judgement of IITD

IITD is an old IIT and has an entrepreneurial atmosphere making it my first choice.I applied for the some other colleges I am comparing with ahead. IIT Madras is good in research, IIT Roorkee is said to has an atmosphere for UPSC aspirants, IIT Bombay is a rounded college. Rank issues dictate which college to choose ultimately.
