Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is well structured with good class participation and the pedagogy includes case based approach along with classroom mode. The ratio of faculty to the student is 1:10, the faculty are PhD holders and are quite well-informed about their domains. The teaching review is 8.5/10. The exams are semester based with mid sem exams included. The difficulty depends on your preparation levels.

Internships Opportunities :

This can also be found in the placements/summer internship brochure shared over the website www.vgsomiitkgp.com in the placements section. The roles like prod man supply chain manager, consultant analytics, MT, and operations manager are being offered.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there's better ROI. After the third sem, the students become eligible for placements. The companies visited and offers made can be found in the placements brochure. All the details of the average package highest package and profiles offered can be viewed from the placements brochure. 100 per cent of students are placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it falls under government institutions the fees are pretty less when compared to iims and other pvt bschools, the fees hike is minimum with greater ROI, financial support will be provided on the basis of merit and economic conditions.

Campus Life :

Purvodaya is a school fest conducted every year at the beginning of February and Vinculum is an annual fest conducted every year in March end. The student gets access to vgsoms library central Library of iit kgp and also the libraries of hostels. Well-lit classrooms with good seating with world-class standards. Ample opportunities are available to participate in sports and extracurricular fests conducted in iit kgp, there are 18 clubs and committees which are both academic and fun clubs which are student-driven.

Hostel Facilities :

Triple-sharing rooms and double-sharing rooms on the basis of availability. The mess of food needs to be improved. The hostel registration process is simple and it's affordable. The rooms will be allotted within the campus.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

The eligibility of course is a Bachelor of engineer or bachelor of technology, even students who've bachelor of science along with masters in any field are eligible. The application form can be found on the college website www.vgsomiitkgp.com, the application fees and dates are published over the website. The reservation benefits are applicable as per college rules and regulations which can be found through above link. The process is good enough and it is transparemt enough no discrepancies have been faced by me.

Home away from Home, or is it?!

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the second last semester. Big 4's have blacklisted Adamas because the students they recruited in the past left the company without serving notice period. Most of the companies visiting, are start-ups. Placement support as I already mentioned earlier, is negligible especially for HR. Highest package in MBA sales was 11 lakhs, incentive included. Since, I didn't get satisfactory offers, I am trying to find an opportunity on my own.

A experience to remember for life

Placement Experience:

After the successful completion of the internship and 2nd semester, students are eligible for the campus placement drive.
