Course Curriculum Overview :

The reason to choose this course lies in my short-term as well as long-term goals. The institute is pioneered in operations as well as analytics. Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 All the faculties are at least PHDs and follow case-based studies which focus more on application to a real-world problem that includes quantitative as well as qualitative methodology. College follows a semester system. In a semester, mid-semester exams are followed by end-semester exams. Students get time to study well for the exam

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like ICICI, Texas, Optum, P and G, sun Pharma, etc Avg Stipend = 1.5 lacs Highest 3 lacs Roles like Product manager, Management trainee, Supply chain role, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, etc

Placement Experience :

After the third start semester student will be eligible for the final placements Companies like ICICI, Flipkart, Amazon, wells Fargo, ITC, etc The highest package is 32 lakhs, Average package is 11 lakh 100% of students get placed I want to work in the corporate world whereas as a manager I can take some decisions for the betterment of the society

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college is one of the best B-schools in India in terms of ROI. The fee increase is nominal YoY. The fees of the current batch are approximately 11 Lakhs for both years including boarding and lodging. Scholarships are available for SC/ST students. The jobs and relevant stipend can be viewed from the placement brochure

Campus Life :

Our annual fest is- Purvodaya- B-School Fest. IIT KGP has one of the best libraries in ASIA and contains one of the best books and journals. Classrooms are equipped with one world-class facility. There are a total of 18 clubs and committees in VGSoM, IIT Kharagpur

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities include triple and double sharing with all basic amenities available Meal quality is good and you will be given 4 times meal Registration for the hostel is included in the admission process Hostel accommodation is mandatory for all the students

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Admission :

Bachelor in engineering and technology or Master in Arts, Science, or Medicine. The website to refer- www.som.iitkgp.ac.in Improvement towards an increase in gender diversity ratio and increasing CAT weightage.

Interview Experience :

The interview was held during my admission at VGSoM. The shortlist will be released first based on profile, experience, and percentile in CAT. After shortlisting, interview slots are given and interviews are held. I self-prepare for CAT.

Home away from Home, or is it?!

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the second last semester. Big 4's have blacklisted Adamas because the students they recruited in the past left the company without serving notice period. Most of the companies visiting, are start-ups. Placement support as I already mentioned earlier, is negligible especially for HR. Highest package in MBA sales was 11 lakhs, incentive included. Since, I didn't get satisfactory offers, I am trying to find an opportunity on my own.

A experience to remember for life

Placement Experience:
