Faculty and course curriculam is good.
Placements are good in our collage. Specially most of CSE and Petroleum students get a job before degree.

Dislikes

Hostel rooms are much older and they are small as per two student's consideration.
Quality of mess food is okay. Many times you need to wait some minutes to get chapati.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the first year, all students have to study common subjects. Then from the second-year core subjects are came and also one or two extra subjects other than your core subjects. Also before 8 semesters one humanity and one management course are compulsory. Faculty quality is good as per IIT college and girls to boys ratio is 20:80. there are two exams one mid-semester and one end-semester. It is hard to get a high scores in exams but to get an average regular study is sufficient.

Class Size : 152Course Fees : INR 270000 per year

Placement Experience :

In the seventh semester students who want placements have to register for every company they want to place in. First, there are online coding rounds are there and then on 1st December interviews are there if you qualified in the coding round. Many companies came in placements like google, amazon, Flipkart, uber, sprinkler, Goldman Sachs, and many more. Our highest package is 55 lahks D.E.Shaw and the average is around 18 lakhs. More than 70% of students get placed if they want to get placement. I want to do the job after my degree and apply for a master's at a big university like Stanford.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If your parent's total income is less than 100000 then you will get 100% fees back. Also if your income is less than 500000 then you will get 66 %fees back otherwise you need to pay 100% fees. I got an internship opportunity at sprinkler with 200000 per month for 7 weeks.

Campus Life :

There are many annual fests happening in the college like srijan, khanan, and concetto. Amount of books available in the library is good even though our college library is Asia's second biggest library with many copies of the same book. Our classrooms are smart classes. There are many cultural clubs on campus and is a website which is made by students and professors to upload material and attendance there.

Admission :

To enter into IIT college first you need to give jee main examination and out of all the students they qualify first 10 % students for JEE advanced examination. And as per merit of that exam collages are filled. Also, you need 75% or 80 percentile in the 12th board to take admission in nit or it. Also, there is a reservation in both jee exams. the jee main exam details can be found on nta.ac.in and jossa is the website to take admission to college. The process is good but if they reduce the 75% in the 12th board then students can foucus more on competitive exams.

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
