Course Curriculum Overview :
JEE Advanced is India's most difficult entrance exam which is conducted by IITs. Environmental Engineering is my interest so I chose this branch and it is more like a theoretical course where you have to remember information.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship roles in Google- software developer, Amazon - software developer, Microsoft - software developer, Flipkart - software developer, Razorpay - software developer, Paytm - software developer, Future First - Business analyst. And about 100 companies visit for internship.
Placement Experience :
At the beginning of 3rd year, we get a chance for internships where around 50% get an internship. And at the beginning of last year, we have many companies to apply for placement and around 100% of students get placed each year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In all IIT your fee depends on your family's annual income if your income is less than 1 lakh then only 40k you have to pay annually. Here you get many scholarships for financial aid. For income more than 5 lakh, you have to pay a 1 lakh tuition fee each semester.
Campus Life :
Different clubs are- Fintech - Finance, Manthan - music, WTC - Dance, Cyber labs - software and programming club, Chess club - for students who are interested in chess, LITM - DANCE, RoboIsm - robotics club. Books are available in the library.
Admission :
I got admission through JEE Advanced and the cutoff varies based on category and for OBC it was a 5200 category rank. For admission, you have to clear jee mains and jee advanced with a good score. After you can get admission through JOSAA.
