Course Curriculum Overview :

This was the best course I got with my rank in this college. The student-faculty ratio is 100:5 the faculty are assigned by the government so are qualified and have good teaching methods with practical skills. The sem has 1 end sem and 1 mid-sem exam with 1 or more quizzes(easy).

Class Size : 137Course Fees : INR 123000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

On-campus internships are available for many companies. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Walmart, JP Morgan Chase Co, Morgan Stanley, Samsung R&D, Samsung, Oracle, MAQ software, Barclays, all.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good since the students are good coders generally but online sems are creating issues for some students since GPA restriction is used for most of the companies. About 50% of students get placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In 2017 the fee was increased from 40000 to a total of 120000 in one semester and is continuously increasing. The scholarships meritorious or not are available to only girls/SC/STs/ students mostly with some of them to OBCs/EWSs.

Campus Life :

There are two annual fests- Srijan and Concetto. Srijan has held in winter sem a concetto in monsoon sem. Books are available. Classrooms are flooded with amenities. SAC is there for special activities. A lot of clubs are there.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels have LAN and fans and lights and windows and cupboards and beds and tables and chairs. Mess food is only enough to bear but not very good. The registration process is only formal. Pgs are not recommended generally.

Hostel Fee : INR 33000 per year

Admission :

The course is eligible for all students with a 12th or equivalent degree. The college takes Btech admission in jee advance which the students can appear in only if they student has successfully cleared JEE mains. The CSE branch is available to all students with a rank in JEE Advanced in the top 3500 CRL. Reservation is there for everyone except general students and comprises a total of 60% seats.

Campus placement is decent in lower branches but quite impressive in higher branches..like in higher branches like Cse or ece we have avg around 16 to 18 lakh ann in lower it's around 9 to 10 lakh which is quite good

Internship offers start for students after the 4th semester and placement starts after 6th semester. You may also get a Pre-placement offer from the company where you intern. Last year, the highest CTC offered for CSE was 55.51 LPA with a 91% placement ratio.

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

From semester 6, we're eligible. There are around 250 companies visit every year and this is increasing every year. The offers made are more than 900, with a wide range of packages. 73LPA is the highest package. And 15 LPA is the average package. The percentage of placement is 97.2

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
