Remarks :
A person who has qualified Jee mains is eligible to take part in Josaa counselling to get into this college. The application form is found on the Josaa website once the jee mains results are declared. There are no fees for an application form but once you accept the seat provided to you, you have to pay a seat acceptance fee of rupees 35000 if you are from the general category and 15000 rupees if you are from the reserved category. There are not any reservation benefits provided by the college but you can apply for your state scholarships and NSP if you are eligible for them. The only improvement in the registration process is that Jose counselling should take place with other counselling at the same time so that students can easily choose which college they want without the tension that their money will be wasted if they chose a different college but have paid fees on Jose counselling
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since CSE is the most demanding course with lots of scopes so I chose it. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:40 which is very good compared to other colleges The faculty members are duly qualified in their respective fields and have vast experience in their fields which helps the students in to gain knowledge. Most of the teachers adopt the traditional method of teaching i.e they make notes explain them to the students and make them write the notes. The exams are conducted three times per semester. T1(term 1), T2(term 2) and end semester. The T1 and T2 exams are of 1 hour and two papers are conducted per day while the end sem exams are of 3 hours and only one paper is conducted per day. If you study well for the exams they are not that hard to pass and you can get good grades if you carefully read all the notes made by the teachers
Internships Opportunities :
Companies such as Nomura, Yozu Share chat, yugabyteDB, grow, ente.io, Atlassian, JP Morgan, and other big companies offer internships for SWE and SDE roles with stipends ranging from 20k to 1.5 lacs. Students are given projects from the 4th semester itself to train them on how things are done at the industrial level. They are given a real-life problem and are expected to propose a suitable and technical solution to that problem. In this way, the students are exposed to the real-life things they are expected to work on during their jobs
Placement Experience :
The students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards and various companies come to give internships and PPOs to the students. The students got placed in Google, Microsoft, Intel, Atlassian, Nutanix, yugabyteDB, Cognizant, and many other big tech giants The highest package offered is 53 LPA by yugabyteDB for the SDE role. The average package is approx 16.5 LPA for SWE, SDE, and other related roles. Almost 100 percent of the eligible students are placed with very good packages in top MNCs. Although my plan after my graduation is not fixed I'm also expecting to join an MNC with a good package
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is not any specific fee hike policy and fees can be incremented at any time which is a bad experience for me. Recently the hostel fee hiked from 24000 rupees to 43070 rupees which is very shocking. As said before, there are not any scholarships provided by the college but you can apply for the state scholarships and NSP if you are eligible. I'm currently in my second year so I haven't been placed yet.
Campus Life :
Thete aren't any fest since we are not having any permanent campus so it is very difficult to organise a fest in the rented campus. But our clubs organize various events from time to time. Recently our entelrepenuship cell organised the first ever hybrid event of the college - Ideathon 2k22. All the books related to the courses are available in the library. The classrooms are very big and have projector, blackboard and sound system for the the teachers to effectively communicate with the students. We have a ground where we can play all type of sports such as badminton, cricket, football, kabaddi and many other games. We also have table tennis at our hostel and a gym is also going to be built very soon. There are several clubs in our college such as the entrepreneurship cell, vanity crew(dance club), saaz(musical club), eclectic (literary club), bit legion(xoding club) and c-cube(spiritual club) which keep on organising various events frequently.
Hostel Facilities :
The room has jet sprays in the bathroom, solar geysers, a table, a chair, and a cupboard. The rooms are four-sharing. The hostel has washing machines and water purifiers on every floor. The mess food is the okayish type and the menu is updated every month after discussion with the mess committee members. The breakfast includes tea,.coffee and milk, and cornflakes with other items. There is dal and rice in every day's lunch and dinner. Evening tea is also provided. We have to fill out an application form for residing in the hostel and the hostel charges are 43070 rupees per year which are quite expensive according to me as compared to previous charges of 24000 rupees
