Remarks :

In my time the admission process was not so lengthy. At that time only the graduation of the student was necessary but according to the current scenario, the percentage matters a lot because the competition level is very high so the entrance exam should be a must. Now the matter of cut-off marks, the cut-off marks should also be such that the students who get average percentage can also get admission to that college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had decided at the time of graduation that I want to do an MBA course. The faculty of the college was well qualified due to which it was easy for us to understand. Most of the faculties were M.Phil. or Ph.D. qualified. The term exam was a bit tough but the preparation was good so there was no problem in cracking the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

American Express: It is an excellent company, training interns in the field of technology, finance, operations & marketing. Cisco: It is the idea for those who intend to start a dynamic career in sales & marketing. KPMG: You can also work in various domains like sourcing, business & marketing. This internship may last from 3 months to 12 months. After the successful completion of this internship, most of the students avail great insight into their profession and the work culture.

Placement Experience :

In the 4th semester, students could appear for placement in the campus interview. At that time many companies has come in which the IT sector, Retail sector, and Automobile sector were prominent. At least 80% of the students were selected and for those who were not, most students had their businesses and goals. Like I was also selected for the Export House before completing my MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee hike policy: No student wants the fee structure of the courses to be more than his status because due to this reason most of the talented students have to do normal courses as far as scholarship is concerned, there should also be a set of criteria for it. The scholarship is also given cast-wise.

Campus Life :

The atmosphere of the campus is very good. There used to be many programs and parties like fresher's parties, farewell parties, rain parties, new year parties, etc. My library: Books related to all the courses were available as well as novels, magazines, and newspapers (Hindi & English on daily basis) were also available. Most of the sports activities are done like cricket, soccer, chess, badminton, etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in our University is available but is inactivity. There for least of the students are placed through University. Sometimes only the company with vacant position available over sikkim comes for placement. So to get a job we need to prepare and struggle ourselves to get a well paying Job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBA HRM is a good start for a career student-faculty ratio is 60:2. Lecturers are well qualified, and subject notes and readers are sent by the University before the commencing of the semester. Exams will be conducted on alternate days. All the topics covered in the textbook can score a good grade.

Remarks:

Near to my hometown, reputed and recognised college. Things that I like about the college is it's facilities for students such as 24hour electricity and wifi in the hostel, hot water facility. Most important safe and strict rules for both girls and boys. Other facilities like swimming, tennis, basket ball, gym, etc are available for the students.

Admission:

My admission was based on the entrance exam of SMAT. I fill out the form online and my application was shortlisted. I chose to study an MBA course in correspondence because I want to be independent, so I worked and study at the same time.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in our college works efficiently to place 100% of the students in the industries or companies. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Nestle, Bajaj Allianz, Accenture, etc visited our college and the highest salary package offered is around Rs.12 Lakhs.
