Remarks :

The admission block is easily visible at the entrance of the main gate of the university. All type of admission criteria is well accomplished by the teachers in the admission block. The reservation benefits can be availed by the SC/ST caste students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer science subject is one of the most demanding subjects in the upcoming time. The practicals are performed on the regular basis. The faculty is well experienced and knowledgeable. The exams are conducted on the regular basis and an eco-friendly environment is provided to the students.

Class Size : 25Course Fees : INR 94622 per year

Internships Opportunities :

After the completion of the 4th semester industrial is provided to the students in order to develop their industrial skills in the students. The college helps to get internships from private and government firms. In which sometimes stipend is included.

Placement Experience :

There is a total of 6 semesters. From the 6th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. The job fair is held twice a year in the university in which companies such as Capgemini, Thinknext, etc . visit and recruit the students. The average package offered is 3.5 lakh per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee of the course is 94,622. While SC/ST caste students can avail the scholarship opportunity. The semester and tuition fee are almost covered in the scholarship (excluding annual charges and examination fee).

Campus Life :

The various type of events is organized by the college regularly. The library is well equipped with a no. of books on different subjects. The classrooms are well maintained. The computer labs are provided with a good internet connection. The athletic meet is conducted in order to develop the interest of students in sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am a graphic desginer and also was so much interested in coding since i was 13 so thts why i chose the dip in computer science and engg and i chose to do diploma because i wanted to be in this as soon as i could...and if we talk about my course it helps me alot to get a reality check of the work load of a software enginer...and teaching methods are just finee...of this coursee rest you hve to do self study in every course and timming exams should be improved because exams happen frequently after 1-2 days we dont get much time to prepare and sometimes 2 exams in a day..

Life at SLIET

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is very interesting. You get more practical experiments and hands-on experience in your diploma. There are more than enough teachers or faculty for their respective courses except for a diploma in civil for now. Most of the faculty members have done their master's or Ph.D. from IITs or NITs. Terms exams are not that hard but need to have your basics right.
