Infrastructure is good and decent and well

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good overall but there is less practical knowledge. In 5 semester there is training which I would suggest you would not do that from college premises. You can get to learn many more things from others companies in training

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience :

Basically yes companies come in our college and there are placements, but I would rather suggest you to do B.Tech after the diploma course which will moreover increase your employability skills and job experience

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is I think about semester is 18000 and I think which is fair. Scholarships are also available. If some students are from backward classes the fees for them is about 1250 including everything. There are many scholarships available for children.

Campus Life :

Basically there are no clubs in our college. But there are some cultural activities which are performed such as dancing, painting and signing. There are sports events also. Overall it is a food college

Hostel Facilities :

Basically there is a hostel provided to Diploma students which is currently H and there the fees is about 24000 and for mess is same which is 25000. Overall I would suggest you to take the hostel and it is good

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

Basically there is no entrance exam, Basically you should have a good marks for taking admission in Thapar Polytechnic College. I have applied to Thapar through online mode from PSBTE website. Rest admission process is smooth

Faculty :

They say that they have completed M.Tech but I have some doubt related to that thing. Overall campus is good and there is proper security. Canteen is also provided and the teachers are also friendly nature

Truth about LPU

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am a graphic desginer and also was so much interested in coding since i was 13 so thts why i chose the dip in computer science and engg and i chose to do diploma because i wanted to be in this as soon as i could...and if we talk about my course it helps me alot to get a reality check of the work load of a software enginer...and teaching methods are just finee...of this coursee rest you hve to do self study in every course and timming exams should be improved because exams happen frequently after 1-2 days we dont get much time to prepare and sometimes 2 exams in a day..

Campus placement is very good highest is around 22 lakhs and students start getting placement in final year of btech and average placement is 4.5 lpa some of major companies are tata mahindra amazon and Microsoft which offered placement around 45% students get placed my personal plans is to do btech from thapar university in patiala

It will help us to get direct admission in thapar university by leet we will go into 2nd year thats why I choose this way instead of 11,12 . There is nothing to improve everything is good . We have enough time to prepare for exams

Placement Experience:

Student in the final semester are eligible for placements and internships. Famous Companies visited for internships are Mahindera tech and Novelty hundai with the starting salary of 10-15 thousand per month. Most of the students got placed.

Life at SLIET

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is very interesting. You get more practical experiments and hands-on experience in your diploma. There are more than enough teachers or faculty for their respective courses except for a diploma in civil for now. Most of the faculty members have done their master's or Ph.D. from IITs or NITs. Terms exams are not that hard but need to have your basics right.
