  • Minimum attendance is 85% which takes a toll on the student because not reaching that benchmark could really cause trouble
  • There are jammers inside the campus almost everywhere which makes it difficult to take up important calls.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is really great and that is one of the reasons I chose this university.Media department of christ university is one of the best in the country and the assignments are real life based so they do prepare you up for future jobs and real world tasks. If you like what you are doing, you'll have a great time here.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are usually offered to finance students in campus by Big 4 usually Deloitte and EY.Other than that students usually have to crack internships themselves off campus. Internship is compulsory before entering 3rd year.

Placement Experience :

Companies show up to college by 5th semester.Big 4 offers internships and PPO to children. The highest package was 25 LPA and the average package is 6-7 lla.there are certain criteria that you have to meet for sitting in placements, and if you're good enough, you'll definitely land up with a good job

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My course fee is 95000 per annually which is very reasonable considering it is a private college.I dont think there are a lot of scholarships available but there are options for education loan and paying the fee in 2 installments. Placements are nice, alot of companies show up to the campus including big 4 . Average package is 6-7lpa

Campus Life :

Christ has nothing called fests, but there are other departmental level events going on in the campus regularly which keeps you engaged .Other than that, there are sports tournaments, theatre, dance events that will keep you busy most of the time.We have 2 libraries that have almost all the books you'll ever need

Admission :

My entire application and admission process was online due to covid but now , after the entrance test,PI and interview ,students have to show up to campus one final time for interview and admission confirmation. Its a very smooth hassle free process

Faculty :

Student to faculty ratio is 75:1.Class size is decent and faculties are really educated.Sometimes face might come out as rude and arrogant and you gotta deal with it,but most of them are good teachers.

Interview Experience :

The admission process includes entrance test which is MCQ based. It is not really difficult to pass. Then there is MP which is micro presentation, they give you a topic and you have to speak on it for 3-4 minutes There is Personal Interview at last where they can ask anything related to your personal life or course that you have opted. They usually check if you will be able to handle their overall pressure

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good the average package will be around 7 lakh per annum. In the BBA it will be average 10 lakh per annum. The percentage should be more than 50 percent. Companies like zomato, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum and syllabus are pretty thorough and let students think and be creative. In psychology, multiple theories have been discussed well and projects based on them are given to make the understanding better. The lab classes play an important role since we get first-hand experience with how experiments are conducted, and they tend to give a deeper understanding of the topic being studied. I chose this course because I was interested in the subject, and the classes strengthened this decision of mine. The teaching methods can be a bit more interactive and while frequent quizzes and discussions do occur, certain parts of the subject need a more extensive explanation, and usually extra emphasis is not given to important topics. We have one mid-semester exam and one end-semester exam. According to me, these exams are enough to help students prepare. The difficulty level has got to be very subjective. I find some topics harder than others and that influences my grades.
