Remarks :

Students had to pass class XII with 60 per cent and above. The application form is available on the website, Ex- edmundians are reserved seats in this college, Catholics and ST tribe have reservations I studied in higher secondary school so I received the benefits. Admission is too lengthy and should be simpler

Course Curriculum Overview :

My aunt advised me to undertake it. There are around roughly 3000 plus students in the college and roughly 100 to 50 faculty members All the teachers in my department were highly qualified with most of the teachers possessing Doctorates. Exams were held at end of every semester and it was very challenging

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees remained constant even during COVID which was disappointing, it's quite pricey as compared to other colleges in the state. I didn't apply for the scholarship but I did work at a part-time job for a year and a half.

Campus Life :

The college has two basketball courts, one football field, one volleyball court and many indoor game rooms which host matches during events. The art club which is run by the students mainly involves art and creativity involving students of all departments interested in art

Life in St Edmunds shillong

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

A brief review of St. Anthony's College

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 4th semester onwards. Many tech companies such as TCS, Accenture, Cognizant etc visits the campus as well as different medicine companies such as Dr Reddy, Sun Pharma etc also visits other companies and banks also visits during the placement week. Last year the highest package that was offered was 20LPA and average package of 5 LPA is provided.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My honors subject is BSc in ZOOLOGY and I chose this course because I had a deep interest to study animals as I loved studying biology. Faculties are really experienced out here. Every faculty have cleared CSIR NET from science and almost all of them hold a Ph.D. degree. The teaching methods are good. Final exams are conducted after every 3 months from the day each semester begins and it's not that hard to pass exams.

Remarks:

As it is still an upcoming University, it has room for improvement for sure. The campus is still building up. During monsoon the route is a concern for which chancellor sir is working with. But provided the facilities in a commendable fee, it isn't a bad experience for sure. You'll not regret it. I had one of my best phase of life here, you could too.
