Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is quite impressive and that is the reason I chose this course. The curriculum mainly focuses on the learning of the practical aspects of Biotechnology. The college provides excellent lab facility to their students and the professors are very qualified individuals with great teaching skills. They use modern teaching methods and integrate digital and visual learning in every lecture. The classrooms are equipped with projectors which help the students to learn better. The student faculty ratio is also according to the UGC norms. There is one term exam for each semester and one internal assessment which were tough but we're easy to pass if one was regular in their lectures.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placements from 4th semester onwards. Many tech companies such as TCS, Accenture, Cognizant etc visits the campus as well as different medicine companies such as Dr Reddy, Sun Pharma etc also visits other companies and banks also visits during the placement week. Last year the highest package that was offered was 20LPA and average package of 5 LPA is provided.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure is quite in the affordable range. It's 25000 per year and that's the standard price till now. There are different scholarships that can be availed according to ones eligibility. The college has a placement cell and placement assistance is provided .

Campus Life :

The campus life is quite impressive there are different clubs and study groups one can join to expand their intellectual horizon. There are different sports clubs, music clubs , drama clubs, NSS etc. There are different competitions and conferences that are organized by these clubs and that presents an opportunity for the students to explore their co curricular skills .

Admission :

The Admission process is quite standard. Anyone can apply online on the college's official website as well as they physically apply for the course. I completed my bachelors in Biotechnology where there was a requirement for an entrance exam and the minimum eligibility was passed12th exam in science stream with minimum 60% marks. But now the college is now participating in CUET UG from 2023 onwards . Admissions are now based on the scores one secures in their CUET exams. The fees structure is quite affordable which is approximately 25000 per year and can be paid in two installments. Overall the whole process of applying in the college is quite easy and accessible but improvements can be made in their online mode of application.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My honors subject is BSc in ZOOLOGY and I chose this course because I had a deep interest to study animals as I loved studying biology. Faculties are really experienced out here. Every faculty have cleared CSIR NET from science and almost all of them hold a Ph.D. degree. The teaching methods are good. Final exams are conducted after every 3 months from the day each semester begins and it's not that hard to pass exams.

Remarks:

As it is still an upcoming University, it has room for improvement for sure. The campus is still building up. During monsoon the route is a concern for which chancellor sir is working with. But provided the facilities in a commendable fee, it isn't a bad experience for sure. You'll not regret it. I had one of my best phase of life here, you could too.
